I just noticed that while running the MT version my first CPU core is constantly on 100% utilization. Even in the menu. I have Ryzen 5 5600X. In game settings are pretty low. Any ideas ?

Same for me. When I start DCS MT VR it kills my steamVR but the game will load. In main menu I get very low FPS and FPS counter is displayed with yellow color in center of my view. When I get into cockpit everything is very low resolution for some reason and it stutters. Also the textures are shimmering and floating around. Something tells me that it is related to a fact that it kills steamVR upon DCS startup.

For me it is unplayable now in VR. Even in menu I get bad stuttering. Weird thing is that upon startup it kills my already running steam VR. The textures are floating in menu and in cockpit as well. Also the resolution is super low for some reason. Steam super sampling is set to 100%. Played F16 on Caucasus vs single Mig29 AI. Low settings. True but jets while merged in dogfight are close together and are moving much faster. Anyway I think I know why this is happening. I think it is FPS related. Even if I turn everything to LOW/OFF I still get ghosting but after I lowered pixel density from 1.0 to 0.7 the game runs much smoother and the ghosting is gone. The down side is that pixel density is very important for good looking graphics. DCS definitely needs a lot of optimization. IL2 BOX used to have the same problem but they fixed/optimized it quite some time ago.

2022 and this is still a problem. I can turn all the settings to LOW/OFF and I still get ghosting. To fix it I had to set pixel density to 0.7. Then game runs smoother and without ghosting. But I feel like PD is very important for good graphics. Running G2, R5 5600X, RX6900XT, 32GB RAM.

Still problem in 2022. Could it be caused by DCS jets moving way faster than IL2 warbirds?

guys how about the screen door effect? Are you able to spot targets at long distance?
