  1. Citations, too. That's how it's done. I need to hunt down my POH.

We have the MiG-21bis (75B) Fishbed-N, the tactical fighter and export version. There are two versions of it, with some avionics differences between the VVS/PVO versions and the export ones. The MiG-21bis Fishbed-L is the export interceptor and features the Lazur GCI system. The one we have, the Fishbed-N, has the SAU and Polyot ILS to reflect a more generalized combat role. They're sometimes designated MiG-21bis-Lazur and MiG-21bis-SAU in nations that purchased them.

    Thanks dude :)

  2. If only we had a map for the war in Korea and a complimentary set of aircraft, including carrier operations. Suddenly I think things could light up big time then, but DCS doesn't seem to want to be that kind of combat simulator. That's why I don't do much DCS, because it is not 'joined up' that way. I like the historic aspect of combat simulation flying, so I tend to lean more towards combat flight simulation that enables more historically based scenarios. I love the Mig-15 in DCS :)

    Happy landings,

    Talisman

yeah for sure, even just a map would be nice. :)

  3. to save weight (its an interceptor)

they left out a compressor for high pressure air.

so you only have a finite amount of pressure stored in the system.

you should never do touch and goes in a mig 21:)

if you forget to put the gear lever into neutral you will bleed air and not have enough to deploy the chute or use the brakes when you land.

basically doing touch and goes you bleed off all your air raising and lowering the gear. and using the brakes.

So it's necessary to get the landing gear back to neutral as quickly as possible to save pressure. Did not know that, thx fella as I just used to do it when I remembered

  4. This thumbup.gif

Same to all of those planes and a Vietnam map. Plus I would freaking love a mig31 to fly alongside the tomcat

    + MIG 17,MiG-21 F-13

P.S:Also(unrelated to Vietnam era) i would like to see my favorite flying brick MIG 25

Same here for all those planes and a Vietnam map. Also I would freaking love a mig31 to fly alongside the tomcat

  5. While I can see that people are disappointed with the mig19 being delayed a bit, honestly I'd rather razbam release a mostly feature complete plane. There is alot of legitimate criticism of the state of the harrier and how bungled the EA for that module has been, so I see this a step in the right direction for Razbam. And even then, I'm gonna take a wait and see approach once its released.

exactly, i want a complete plane for my money so i gonna wait

  6. Yeah the feeling of am I going to be in a spin or crash every time I move the stick is one of the best feelings in DCS imo. Love the vodka rocket and can't wait till she gets her facelift :):)

  7. I love the mig 15 and imo one of the best done modules in DCS. You have to take your time with her and learn what you can get away with while flying it in combat. I originally bought the sabre first then picked up the mig15 out of curiosity, but after flying her a couple of times I preferred it. It's just better in different ways like the sabre is better in different ways to the mig
