Bad experience after the 1809 update. :cry: After the 1809 update, the PC remains in the boat and the monitor remains black. When I press the reset button, windows 10 (1809) will end up in the login screen, but it is not very friendly to have to use the reset button on every boot of your PC. This can also make the software unstable and corrupt and also bad for your hardware such as your HDD. Back to version 1803 or does anyone know of a solution to this problem? Best regards Grippen7

Microsoft has certainly read this because they have just forced (installed) version 1809 on my PC. Now I have to test whether everything still works or go back to version 1803. :cry: Best regards Grippen7.

YOU ARE THE WINNER msalama !!! :thumbup: This was the real problem. The Game Flight mode was been activated for an unknown reason. After deactivating this option, everything returned to normal. Can this option be activated during an update, because I have never used it before? Thanks to everyone for the good advice. Now I can fly happily again in my L-39 module. :pilotfly: PS: I tested with "Game Flight Mode on and off and this was the real cause. I did. I also reasigned all the trimbuttons again and recalibrated my CH joystick and throttle assy's. I checked also the controls indicator window in the cockpit view. It is some problem in the module i think. :cry:

I have this problem before and after the latest patch, also after a comlete new installation of the L-39 module. Try the instand take off mission from the caucasus. After a few meters I get a tailstrike if I dont push the stick almost full forward.

That will be the best Microsoft Windows 10 update. :thumbup: All the time I lost with reinstalling Windows 10 and the frustrations to get it runing properly again. I dont like the forced updates, except for the antivirus and hack patches. Best regards Grippen7.

Windows update 1803, No grapichs anymore because it messed up with my videocard driver. Had to hack the register to solve it. Also, it messed up all my USB ports, so joysticks did not work properly or not. Windows update 1809, No sound after the update. When will Microsoft stop with updates I dont want to have an ruin my computer setup all the time. Let the customer decide, if he wants to have a Paint 3D version or not. All those stupid creator updates fill only my SSD space with stuff I dont need or ever will use. I only want a clean small windows to run my own software. This looks more like android, with the forced apps you dont can delete from your phone and you never use. Best rergards, Grippen7

The alpine zone in the Caucasus region on the north slopes is around 2,000 metres (6,600 ft) and on the southern slopes may extend up to 2,800 metres (9,200 ft) above sea level, while the glacier and snow line starts at 3,000–3,500 metres (9,800–11,500 ft). Can the trees that grow above these hights in the simulator, be removed for more realism. Is something wrong with the L-39 flaps and trim system? :cry: During take-off with the flaps in the take-off position, the L-39 rotates very quickly on its tail. The flaps give a strong pitch up moment. It also looks that the trim system is reversed. If I want to trim the plane up I have to trim it down. The stick and the elevator dont match up. I feel that something is wrong with the Trim action vs Stick animation vs elevators animation vs trimtabs animation. If I trim up, the stick goes aft and the elevators up, but the nose of the plane goes quickly down. Looks that the right trimtab is going down which must be correct and the left trim tab stays neutral. Also the flaps shoud give a nose down moment instead of up. I uninstalled the module and after reinstallation nothing changed. I cant remember that the L-39 flew like this before, because this was the first module I bought and never had the extreme tailstrikes before. Best regards, Grippen7

Hi all, How to fix all the F-5E3 missing texture problems? :cry: No pilot textures. No nose and main gear textures (Partly.) No engine nozzles / afterburber textures. Wenn will this be fixed by an update of this module? Best regards Grippen7.

I will test a little bit more, after the last update I had problems so it could be the cause. Yes the fuselage swings from left to right several times. I dont think that that is normal behavior. Trainer aircraft should be (more) stable for training flights. Best regards Grippen7.

Hi all, Thanks for the extra information. I am talking about the Caucasus winter map. Yes it drops me pretty low inside a valley which is a little exciting but also almost direct uncontrolable. If I start this scenario, I give already full Throttle but the plane is breaking out directly at the start to the left. I already remaped and recalibrated my joysticks on all axis but that did not resolved the issue. I find the flight model a little bit sloppy, fly a half roll upside down and back and see what i mean. I think it stil must be a little bit tuned, because it look not realistic to me for a trainer aircraft. A trainer should fly better then for example a Mirage 2000 or an other fighter.:pilotfly: I will try the extra 400 lbs of thrust. :thumbup: Best regards Grippen7

If you start Instant action - C101 - Ground attack mission, the plane is uncontrolable and crashes. :joystick: Breaks to the left all the time and then stalls. Get also stall warnings on the ground in other missions. (The Hawk had this issue also before.) Also the plane looks very underpowered after the update. Best regards Grippen7

FYI I installed the Mb-339A/PAN mod, but it did not run, then I installed it in both directory's. The main DCS folder on my H: SSD drive and the second one, in my save game folder on the C: drive. But it did not run so I removed it frome the save game folder and forgot to remove it from the H: drive main DCS folder. That was the problem and I learned my lesson now. :smilewink: The folder structure is very confusing for addons and skins. We have the folowing folders: Bazar CoreMods DemoMods Mods Savegame Mods folder ect. Why not one folder for installing aircraft and skins? Best regards Grippen7

Hi all, Found the solution to bring the sim alive again. Removed all mods and files with the errors. (ERROR SECURITYCONTROL) I tought that the Mbb 339 was on my C: drive instead of my H: drive. Skyhawk was installed in this directory: (removed it.) c:\Users\ABC\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\ Files removed from this directory: h:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\ After this I performed a repair and now DCS is running again. Removed the mods did repairs update runtime ect but no results. Before no problems until the latest patch. What do you need to solve this? Best regards Grippen7 UPDATE: See post below for my solution.
