Hi all, I've the same stutter issues. I've the new 1080GTX with an 6700K and 32GB RAM Looks like it started after the last Windows update. Installed new firmware and drivers but no results. How to fix this? Best regards Grippen7

Hi all, Thanks for solving the problem. :thumbup: I noticed that I had no NVDIA GTX 1080 monitor connected and also the Oculus Rift was not visable. So I connected a display adapter on one of the other GTX 1080 ports and then it worked. I was also able to run IL2 Sturmovik in VR mode. For X-Plane 11, I need extra 3rd party software (FLYINSIDE) I think. I must say it is realy awesome and I hope that the next generation VR sets have twice this resolution so the instruments are better readable, but you can be verry quick airsick. :cry: I have almost a stable 45 Fps with DCS World. But some planes have fewer Fps like the F-15 (23-45 Fps.) PS: If you remove all other monitors, would that give better Fps and what are the best menu settings for VR for sharpness & Fps? Start Oculus DONE Start DCS with your VR enabled shortcut DONE Put on the headset. You should get the Oculus notice for health and safety. DONE BUT I DONT SEE the DCS Loading Screen nor the Oculus notice for health and safety, I only see the grey room in the OC headset with this message: Sorry, DCS.exe is taking a while to load. If this issue persist, Please take off your headset and check this app on your computer. Then you should see the DCS Loading Screen and then you should be next to a jet in a hangar. NO HANGAR On my second monitor not connected to my GTX 1080 I see 50% left half DCS Screen. And I hear the DCS music, Thats all. :-( When you get that far, make sure your game window is active and hit ALT+Enter to have a (stretched) fullscreen on your 2d montior. This will remove any issues with clicking on buttons in the UI. Note I have 2 graphics cards. Normal I use two monitors: Screen 1 connected to GTX 1080 (To run a flightsimulator) Monitor 2 connected to intel chip on the motherboard. (For running moving map software like G-PLan or X-Plane 11 map or Tack View) Situation with OC rift is: Monitor 2 becomes monitor one but is still on the intel chip on the motherboard. and the OC Rift is on the GTX 1080 HDMI port and monitor 1 is disconnected. Hi SwissMAG thanks, for your advise I will try it. Are there also graphic settings I have to adjust (or lower) like screenresolution / details ect? Can you copy your shortcut as an example because I cant create one. I get a message file not found. "H:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\bin\DCS.exe" --force_enable_VR "H:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\bin\DCS.exe --force_enable_VR" How to add the parameter? I also see this message in the Oculus Rift: Sorry, DCS.exe is taking a while to load. If this issue persist, Please take off your headset and check this app on your computer. I see DCS starting on my monitor as a half (50%) left side of the screen. Hi all, I bought a Oculus Rift CV1 but I am not able to run any flightsimulator with it. :cry: I run via steam the Apollo 11 software and a Fly the Mercury demo, but I want to fly with DCS World, IL2 Sturmovik and X-Plane 11. :joystick: Till now three days are past and even the Oculus support cant help me. :helpsmilie: Can someone give me a step by step tutorial or a plan how to proceed? :smartass: Best regards Grippen7

Ls, Here are some test results. Started DCS World 1.5.6 Loaded Viggen mission Intercept. During loading module crashed CTD above the word sponsor from the Disclaimer. :cry: Started DCS World 1.5.6 tried again to load the same Viggen mision. During loading module crashed CTD above the word endorse from the Disclaimer. :cry: Started DCS World 1.5.6 loaded the F-5E take off mision. Result I could fly this mision. :thumbup: Ended mision and started F-86 module mision. No problem I could fly this mision.:thumbup: Ended this mision and started Viggen module Intercept mision. During loading module crashed CTD above the word way from the Disclaimer. :cry: Best Regards Grippen7

No tweaks. It is new RAM and it is 3 month old. How can I test the memory? Can the memory profile, be the cause of the problem? How can I see how many cores are used and only the real cores or also the HT cores? But why do the other modules run without problems then? Best regards Grippen7

DXdiag states no problems. Installed new graphics drivers 2 times without any result. Have you tried installing a new DirectX runtime? How? See also other thread "Support" with crash dump and DXdiag info file. Best regards Grippen7

Hi all, :helpsmilie: Yes, DCS World runs, both alpha and beta version 1.5 & 2. I own all DCS World modules and only this one is causing (big) problems. :cry: I managed 5 times to start a Quick mission with the Viggen module. (Rocked attack and interception in 1.5 and cold start in 2.0) So the Viggen module is running on my hardware in both versions 1.5 & 2. Butt the main problem is: That it runs only 1 out of 50 times or less. So if Iám lucky if the Viggen module runs, but most of the time (Almost always) it crashed during loading around 70-75%. I get a CTD (Crash to Desktop.) I got it running with all setting at maximum and even then DCS World uses 7GB from my 32GB installed memory. I have a GTX 1080 so video memory must also be no problem. WINDOWS 10 and a 6700K Processor. I tried lower settings but that did not help. (Same problem) If it runs it runs in both versions 1.5 & 2. If it did not run it did not run in both versions 1.5 & 2. :cry: So my question is, what is wrong with this module? All other planes and chopper modules work every time. So I hope the developers can fixed this for me. :helpsmilie: My hardware is described in the first thread. Same problem with multiplayer. :cry: DCS World use 7GB from 32 GB memmory. CPU LOAD is also ok. I need a fix.

The Viggen module is working now in 1,5 & 2. Installed yesterday IL2 Sturmovik BOS & BOM. Found also PC in energy save mode operating. Now everything is working normal. Thanks for your help sofar. Happy I can fly the Viggen now. :pilotfly: Best regards Grippen7

Windows 10 is hiding folders for me and the winzip evaluating version is blocking my totalcomander zip functions. :cry:
