Hi all, I use DCS World in Non VR and in VR. I had two shortcuts on my desktop to start DCS on my monitor or with the Oculus Rift. After the last update and installing the Hornet and the new map, i got a lot of trouble to start DCS world in VR or on my monitor. It does not load the sim and keeps on loading and nothing happens. Only Restarting my PC will stop this because in the windows taskmanager i cant see DCS.exe file there to stop it. Also I got all the time messages about the software needs elevation. This was only after installing the 2.5 versions, before i never saw that warning. Hope this can be fixed because in the past it worked a lot better then now. (more friendly.) Hope it can be fixed like it was before, just to icons to start it in VR or just on a monitor with both their own graphic settings. Best regards, Grippen7

The HUD Speed indication stays on 48 even when the F-18 is not moving and parked on the platform. If you get speed on the runway it becomes alive above 48 KTS. Is this normal or a bug? Best regards Grippen7

I have the same problem.

Also the afterburners give two strange sunlike ball reflextions on the outside model of the plane. Best regards Grippen7

Is this like the real aircraft, so slow? The plane flies down and you can not trim it up within a few seconds, that cant be real. Best regards Grippen7

Hi all, Wenn I fire the F18 Hornet gun, all cockpit switches, displays and the pilot pants lit up. The fire from the gun nozzle bleeds through the cockpit instruments and displays. I dont think that this is realistic and that he cockpit should remain dark as it is. The fire is outside on the fuselage nose and not in the cockpit. Best regards Grippen7

Hi all Can someone explain the pitch and roll trimming system. It is not working all the time and I see no correct information on the cockpit display. Also no animation of the trim switch on the flightstick. Is this real or just a bug, because it is so slow wenn it is working sometimes. Best regards Grippen7

Hi all, When looking from the cockpit in VR to the LH wing tip, I see wenn launching a Sidewinder missile that this rocket goes first 3 meters up and then forward. When looking from the cockpit in VR to the RH wing tip, I see wenn launching a Sidewinder missile that this rocket goes first 3 meters down and then forward. In both cases flying strait and level. I think that this is a bug and both missiles on the LH and RH should fall 0.5 meter down and then fly forward. When flying inverted you see the same from the cockpit. NOTE: Also sometimes in the outside views. Best regards Grippen7

52 Years to learn them all and an other 50 years to fly them. :smartass: I flew all those planes in FSX and FS2004 & Falcon & the IL2 series, so I am familiar with them. :joystick: Only the weapon systems I need to learn in more detail because those were not so deep simmulated in FSX except for Falcon. Working in the aviation world helps also a lot. :smilewink: I know the F-18, F-14 and an F-4 and others are in the pipeline. But they stay on my wish list until they are realy released. :pilotfly: If they release four new planes a year, my wishlist is useable for the next 10 years. :thumbup: Best regards Grippen7

Same here. Installed DCS World again with the link to version 2.1 After installation this is the same version 2.05. So no Normandy :-( Waiting already 1.5 days for a fix. Best regards Grippen7

Thanks for the utility link. I did run it for a week with framerates between 45-90 FPS (With Viggen & others in 1.5) All settings at max almost. Now a got some windows update / new Nvidea drivers and the high framerates are gone, both 1.5 & 2 stutter like hell and the game crashes into a black screen. I noticed in DCS 2 that when the picture was only visable in the Oculus and not on the monitor my framerates went up again to 90 Fps. Butt when I activated the screen with my mouse on the monitor I had stutters again. Oculus set to run "untrusted apps" YES M2 SSD YES GTX G 1080 32 GB RAM 6700K at 4.2 Best regard Grippen7

Hi all, At the moment both DCS versions are unplayable for me. :cry: I see all the time the sandbox loading icon and the game crashes in a black screen. All otther VR Apps running fine, it is just DCS. I had 90 FPS before but I cant compare much because I have my Oculus just a week running. Is there some setup guide for DCS World in combination with the Oculus and a GTX 1080? :smartass: Best regards Grippen7
