  1. Agreed. JAG for some tree top level deep penetration strikes... now that we've gorgeous looking trees in DCS Sent from my HTC U11 using Tapatalk
  2. Hawker Hunter would be a sensible next. Fits in well in the early jet era along with Mig 15 and Sabres. Used in numerous conflicts worldwide and a wide range of users. Sent from my HTC U11 using Tapatalk
  3. O yeah. I'd absolutely buy a Hunter module
  4. Hunter and Jaguar GR3
  5. O yay ! Stallion or Sea King
  6. Any deck-based helicopter is what DCS needs now. Heard about SH 3 Sea King in dvpt by a non official 3rd party too.
  7. Voted Su7b although Mig 27 is what I'd like next . Russian attack aviation is disproportionately weak on DCS
  8. Mig 27 would be nice since we currently have no aircraft other than Su 25 in the Eastern block capable of precision strike. Jaguar & Hawker Hunter would be great too . Sent from my HTC One M9 using Tapatalk
  9. Does it have any ground attack capability, like rockets or gravity bombs ?
  10. Good helicopter for casualty evacuation, rescue, carrier operations, light attack and some nice fun flying. Not a bad idea
  11. Not before the graphics engine and ground units are perfected, bugs are sorted out and a lot of much needed modules are brought in please. DCS has a huge potential to be an all-round modern day net-centric battle simulation. I personally dont prefer too much diversification without bringing in much needed improvements
  12. I think Sea King definitely should be the next big helicopter
  13. A ground attack variant like Mig 23-BN or Mig 27 ? Because we have no eastern block aircraft with a reasonable strike capability other than Su 25
  14. Su 7 really needs to be in DCS. With it there would be enough fighters to go up against each other in an Arab-Israeli or Indo-Pakistani conflict. If not, Mig 27 would be a great eastern block aircraft for precision strike. Mig 23 is just a missile launching platform. I doubt if Mig 23 would ever match up against any western block aircraft in DCS. All you can do is shoot missiles and keep watching. :)
  15. Awesome. Thanks for the info. I've just posted in the Leatherneck forum too
  16. It would be really awesome to do some 60s or 70s gunfight. Su-7 would be a great fighter for DCS. In the theaters it operated, it had gained profound reputation with its offensive capabilities. With a weapons system centered on a powerful dual NR-30 cannon and the sheer power of Lyulka AL-7F, Su-7s were quite effective in sweeping in at extremely low level, pulverizing bunkers and semi-armored vehicles with very accurate rocket attacks. Flying mostly through intense anti-aircraft fire they were brutally effective in this punishing role. Although vulnerable operating against fortified air defenses in battles, Su-7s had a reputation of being built extremely tough. They have demonstrated their ability to absorb far greater punishment than other aircraft types and has recorded instances of being able to make it back to base despite suffering extensive damage. I’ve read that during the Indo-Pakistani war of 1971, an Indian Su-7 hit by a sidewinder was able to return to base with half the rudder missing, the elevators, ailerons and flaps severely damaged, and half the missile stuck in the chute pipe. The Su-7 is an exceptionally robust aircraft. Considering the Mig 21 available as a module and the development of Mirage lll & Hawker Hunter in progress, I believe with an Su 7 module, stage would be set stage for a classic 70s air battle (like the ones over Sinai or Indian subcontinent)
  17. India-Pakistan/Arab-Israeli/Greko-Turkish
  18. Why not some 1st or 2nd generation fighters in DCS? In my opinion we have enough simulators concentrating on WW2 already and it would be great to see some early jet era dogfights in DCS. Hawker Hunter or Su- 7 would be really amazing. My personal favorite is the imposing and powerful Su-7. In the theaters it operated, it had gained profound reputation with its offensive capabilities. 20. Mig 29 SMT/K/M2 version would be a formidable opponent for any western block fighter. It shouldn't be much of an effort to develop a potent ground attack version of this aircraft which already has a PFM in development. I would personally love to see the tough cold war metal Mig 27 as well :joystick:
