I use the latest DCS 1.5.6 version (not open beta). The problem occurs using the mission linked below. In fact I tried to fly a L-39 already in flight and equiped with a middle smoke pod only, the smoke was released without trouble. So it seems the problem occurs only from a cold start and when I load the middle smoke pod through the ground crew. L-39.miz

I only fly the MiG21, not the Tiger, so here is my experience: The Tiger is a little smaller (especially because of the shape of its wings) + most of the time, its liverie is blue, so spotting it is really really difficult It has a good RWR, whereas the "RWR" of the MiG21 is very primitive and not precise. Judging from my experience on MP servers, I feel like the Tiger has a much better turning rate (the MiG21 stalls very easily), and is really fast as well.

That is exactly what I do. I tried the following: Cold start -> loading a middle smoke pod Take off and after reaching 250 knots I press the trigger (with weapon system powered) Nothing happens Landing -> loading 2 more smoker pods under the wings Take off and after reaching 250 I press the trigger All 3 smoke pods release smoke normally Landing -> unloading the 2 side smoke pods Take off and after reching 250 I press the trigger Nothing happens

In the L-39, speed is indicated in knots and altitude is indicated in feets.

I am currently introduicing my gf to DCS with the L-39. It is very easy to flight: it does not bleed all its energy in one turn and behave very gently. It is also very easy to start, and can become a bit more trickyif you want to use RSBN etc... When flying, you don't have to look at many gauges, just check the airspeed before performing some complicated manoeuvers, else you really don't need to look at the gauges. That's why my gf finds it very pleasant to fly. I can teach her how to fly a plane without bothering her much with systems and so on.

Hi, I can't get any middle smoke pod to release smoke when in flight and when I haven't loaded anything else. However, when I load 2 other smoke pods under the wings, the middle pod actually releases smoke with along the 2 others. Is it a bug or me not doing things correctly ? Solution found ! It seems to be related to SimpleRadio's last update (1.2.9.7) https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3100412&postcount=1417 I downloaded this and it solved this layout bug.

A friend found the solution ! He found this post on the forum: https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3100412&postcount=1417 I downloaded the hotfix and it fixed my problem :) It seems it was only a small issue with SimpleRadio 's last update

It happens as soon as I spawn in the cockpit, the communication menu does not change anything.

I did this, the problem still occurs; it does not come from SRS :)

Hello, Since Friday 7th April, the mouse cursor is still visible when I am flying. It began after I installed the last Simple Radio Standalone update 1.2.9.7. However, some friends told me they are also running SRS 1.2.9.7 and don't have this bug. I play the latest 1.5.6 version. By the way, when there were the cursor bug i multiplayer after a DCS update, I had downloaded the fix provided by DCS (don't know if it could be related or not but I say it just in case). Hello, Since DCS 1.5.6 's last update, I can't click on some items of the top horizontal menu. I can't click on Files, Edition, and Flight ("Fichier, Edition, Vol"). However, I can still click on every other items. However, whe I want to click on the Campaign ("Campagne") item, my cursor needs to be on the right of the item, otherwise it is not clickable. On the pictures linked you can see in red the position of my cursor where the Campaign item is still clickable; further left it is not clickable anymore. It is like there is an invisible window blocking those items I hope I have been clear enough. Thanks in advance for any help. Regards.

So mainly because of the lack of precise data, the developpment of a M2000-5 (or M2000D for example) would not be possible, because not accurate enough ?

Does RAZBAM plan to add the Mirage2000-5 in the futur ? It would be great because this version of the Mirage2000 is the real competitor to the F16, F18 or Su27 and MiG29.
