  1. Hi Home Fries, Thanks for all that work, that looks awesome and complicated to the newbie I am to the world of DCS and HOTAS and script. I downloaded the profile on box.com. Before I start using it I was wondering if it would work with my actual setup without conflict. I have: Saitek x52 Cougar MFDs Track IR All I need is the part to use the MFDs, so I was wondering if the HOTAS part of the script would interfere with the rest. If so, is there a way I can only use the MFD part of the script? Thanks, BobBreton Setup: Windows 10 latest updates x52 driver and profile software latest version Cougar MFD latest drivers and TARGET software Intel i5 6600K Asus Geforce 1060 DCS 1.5 latests version
  2. Thank you so much. I had the same problem, I was unable to auto hover still, the chopper was always moving backwards at speeds up to 20 km/h sometimes. The slowest it would move backwards was 2-3 kp/h. I installed the game for the first time about a week ago and it was auto-hovering fine until a two days ago. It looks like the problem started after I edited my axis settings in the options menu. Since then it would move backward when auto-hovering but it would also be very hard to trim for the pitch. The bank and yaw would trim normally but the pitch would be jumpy as hell and I had to keep the stick always pushed forward or it would start a very steep climb. Now that I edited the file as you suggested it's so easy to fly compared to what is was before. Gotta hate FFB sometimes I guess lol
  3. I bought the X52 about six months ago. It lasted about 3 weeks. The throttle works fine, but the stick lost calibration and nothing I tried fixed it. I uninstalled/reinstalled everything, unplugged and replugged the USB cable, did the same with the cable between the stick and the throttle and even tried some other solutions that were suggested by the Admins on the Saitek Forums. Nothing fixed it. Sent it back under warranty to Saitek and got a new one about 3 weeks later. This one was worse than the first one, it lost calibration after 5 days and the tension in the spring was uneven and the plastic disk at the bottom of the joystick would often stick so I had to push or pull quite hard on the joystick to manoeuver. I didn't felt like paying another $40 to send it back for warranty support so it is sitting in it's box in the wardrobe. As I've seen on the Saitek forums, quite a few users have the calibration problem and the only solution that worked for all of them was either to buy a new one or get an exchange under warranty. After that experience, I decided to stay away from the X52. I'm looking toward the CH product although it may mean I'll have to use rudder pedals.
  4. I downloaded the drivers for the X52 straight from the Website whey I received my joystick. Here is teh page I used to locate the drivers: http://www.saitek.com/uk/down/drivers2.asp I will post a copy of this post in the saitek forums. Thanks for the tip.
  5. Hi eveyone, I bought a Saitek X52 a few weeks ago. I started making my profile and eveything was working fine but I also started having a problem a few days after. Here is what is hapenning. I load the profile, then load LOMAC:FC 1.12b. I can fly my jet just fine, but sometimes my keybinds stop respondind. I press on the joystick buttons and nothing happens. Then when I quit LOMAC the computer freezes where LOMAC ask "Are you sure you want to exit" right after I click OK. When this happens, I never get back to windows, it just stays on LOMAC main menu and it will not shutdown. When I look at the task manager, I see CPU usage 0% and Memory 43%. The only way to shut down the computer afterwards is to hold the power button for 3 seconds. Even if I click on End Task or End process, LOMAC will never shutdown and the music keeps playing on the Exit screen. An idea ? P.S. I can upload my x52 profile as an attachment if someone knows a way to attach it in the forums or to host it somehwere else. My specs are in my sig if it can be useful.
