  1. KA-50 Black Shark Released!! stay calm, a ka-50 was released for FSX and FS9 over at alphasim (http://www.alphasim.co.uk/). Yes i do also love to fly civilian jets in FSX. But what sense does it make to fly military aircrafts/helicopters w/o being able to use the weapons ? still, the screenshots look quite nice and maybe somebody who cannot wait for DCS to be released might wanna buy this helicopter for training purpose and give it a try :pilotfly:. And be sure to report us how this thing behaves in the air! chrjs (uups, sorry for starting a new topic in the first place, should have better searched the forum...)
  2. to be more precise, our KA-50 is called Hokum A, the two-seater KA-52 is called Hokum B! ;)
  3. thanx for the awesome video, as usual, sure it'll be more fun to watch in high-res. still, can't wait to fly the baby... awaiting the bombs in PN#7! :smilewink:
  4. i know it is classified now... but until dcs is released with the ka-50, then the f-16, then the mi-24....... by the time we get to tactical bombers the su-34 will be like a spitfire nowadays aplane from ww2!
  5. actually i just saw the b-1 on an air display at the ILA in Berlin, that would be an awesome plane to fly... i never heard a louder jet. just imagine four f-16 next to each other flying by close to mach-1! http://www.jetphotos.net/viewphoto.php?id=6292375&nseq=0
  6. a bomber would be great, but why taking the "old" su-24. i guess russia will switch in the near future to the "modern" su-34. looks even better... i don't think a strategic bomber like the b-52 or tu-95 (or the B-2?!) would be realistic. like you said they normally fly over the whole continent. for example the b-2 in 1998 flew every night from the states to yugoslavia to bomb beograd.the terrain of dcs would just be to small... still a tactical bomber would be nice! chrjs
  7. 550 pages seem quite a few to study. it seems to me as they are basically set and maybe you can release a beta-version of the flight manual now or in the near future so we can take a look at it and start learning :pilotfly:! as for the DCS manual i think we can wait until the final release... would be awesome
  8. hi, i just jonied the forum. thanx for the update, i'm really looking forward to fly this beautiful beast! normally i fly fsx and "over there" many developers provide us only rarely with news or updates so i really appreciate your business here! keep up the awesome work! chrjs
