Hi, I suggest, if you want to modelling this airplane try starting with one plane. The deffault object is too complicated and different in poliy number from my oppinion. If you try this build first just one slice (half plane) from one side of aircraft with extrude edge. It will be done, you continue building (extrude this object what created from 4-5 plane) step by step with nose and the other main body sections. Finally add mirror modifier to your object and define his center (y=0). Try out every new tool's options and values and testing it, if you need you can find some tutorial from how use the tool on YT, WEB and "Google is you friend":D (sry) The YT's car modelling from plane is very usefull so see some video from them and thinking from what can you apply in your project: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RuvgrfMxtb4 Good practice. Ttx, every day? in the real world?:cry: now some updates: i must growing the stabilizer's inner side, and when its finished i upload 1-2 last pic from it. just for fun:D: when i'll have some free minutes (for 59th_Reaper suggestion) i create a short avi from the stabilizer parts movements, and naturally give the link to thereto. the next will be a tails and infra over body and wings, so pls don't watch it on already liked pic, thx. Thx oppinions and i will place in order when i get into shape doors of front landing gear. the noze and cocpit area is the last in the project's steps because there are the biggest difference between the A an UB variations, so please see and analyse the finalized sections apart from unprocessed fragments :), thx. Hi, some updates from new stabilizer (taileron), and for the fully effect dropped the 2th engines (its not finished: missing object, position's angels and animations helpers). When i will create the stabilizer's hydraulic tube, connection elements, and cables (2 pieces) i'll shot new pic. Regards, Krieger

Hi, i create a slider and the turnin center on flaps and finish the left wing (the other side will be mirroring and got a new axles and controllers for easier animation). The pilon's places will be creating in one of the last phases. I modified the following parts from last post: - more trailing edge details - refinement on space between flaps and main body - connected hydraulic cylinder to flaps The next step: stabilizers (+ mechanics) Regards, Krieger

Hi, Tomcatz, if you accept one suggestion from the model: if you see one picture from the end of wings of mig29, you can see that the second light in effect is a irradtiation detector. It is half sphere in white color. have a nice day -

No, the project not died, just i running in the summer and created one of 59th inner project what i can not publicate this place now.

Hi, This model's number of poliy stay under the the K chopper's poly (120.000) number by our plane. The present state is (if i right remember) 50.000-60.000, so i believe it create from max 80.000-100.000 poly. If it will hard to engine, i can cut the non-usable details from any parts of model (like from surface of wings, engine low vis part details), so by one word: we can decrease poly num if we have to do this. Why did i create these useless parts and polys? -> I think these parts give the unique details, and realistic pictures from airplane. This details make many crash when you want to see more closer in the air, and steal your time on ground when analyse the details and we believe todays hardware and the new engine can cope with that. Now you can tell me that i'm a fanatic or mad man it may be that you are right:D. Regards, Krieger

Hi All! Sorry, i can't upload new pic from modell now.:noexpression: Until working the mig the most part is missing because many segments created with symmetric tool and i will not fixing those finaly state for a littel news. I think the project's development is important than the exhibitionism, I'm not showing every little changes end of the days. I have time to working on it after my working time sadly (only in the evening and on the weekends).:( Because i want to create near to real plane or without fault, spend less than half of modelling time addition with the photos analysis.
