  1. Hi all, It's my personal opinion but getting disappointing that: The first announcement of Vulcan happened at Nov 28, 2017. As customer I just experience that there is no god to push enough performance out with VR from the game (without 3rd party tools). Before someone just asking I use: Ryzen 9 5900XT with ASUS 3090 OC and 64GB RAM, and yes I have spent enough time to find the best options. If sometimes, still means that lots of already expected 'magic' still missing, like shadows generated by anything except the sun, moon and the 'tricky magic' shadows on carriers or just a few annoying bugs: - falling red colored snow, - the fog still look like in the games around 2000 especially in rain, - you hear the rain but not see it when using rain preset. - after moved some LUAs into DLLs, the loading in menu became horribly slow, - Mig29 cockpit 'unusable' at night since 2 years (no reaction for requests for fix especially if it has affect for ED modules) - no fog visible in rain but rain moving into opposite direction than the wind, - more then 90% of tracks not usable (We don't even dream that get a player where possible to forwards or backwards the time - in 2022 it is unthinkable), - snow falling in hangar too, and so on, many other things on 3rd party side as well. At the same time 1-2 core of CPU just 'melting down' to serve everything, especially in multiplayer or missions, so sometimes some info or update would be enough to not sell the whole thousands of dollars worth equipment, and start to believe that something happening beyond the promises. I quote again: "The first announcement of Vulcan happened at Nov 28, 2017."
  2. Hi. I just created a plane and single box, textured them and this was all. Maybe missed something to add, but i had not in the past. Especially because i have not bones added, so not understand why told that "model has bones".
  3. Hi All, I installed the latest EDM tool (203477) for 3DSMax 2021. After a new plane and a single box was created, I assigned a new material (standard_legacy) for it and pushed a 'Make Cool' as well. When I try to export it into EDM I always facing with the same error message: "Error: Model has bones so it must have manually set bounding box." Is someone already met with this issue? Thanks.

  5. Seems somehow my post disappeard. So, i made this model few years qgo but never finished it after the moddig becone much more harder. Because i like this plane and one of the variant ist currently used in Hungarian Airforce as well, i thought to share this partially UVd modell if its helps to improve the state of the mod. Is this mod planned to build for the JF11 in the future? I guess this two plane really similar. If necessary i can help to finish it, but its absolutely depends on you. Contact me if you are interested and discuss the details.
  6. Hi Guys, I would like to complement and clarify the posted news and any information. This will be NOT a new 3rd party mod for DCS or any other earlier version of the game. We are preparing it to Our friend who will try to organize a little closed competition. As you see just the cockpit modell is our work the other parts has been made by other great modeller. So in this status of project We woudn't call this to a unique mod just perhaps a little complementary. We are thinking on it that in a future maybe creating a new external modell too, so We will finishing this beautiful aircraft with our works, but it is depend from it that How we will see the technical possibilities for it as in the current state of the cockpit can cause headache with the lack of appropriate development tools. By my opinion I'd prefer finishing the MiG-29 first, however it is a beautiful challenge to me and my friends too. And finally, please don't forget that We all have other full time job in a real life (yet:D). Thank you for your time, Krieger:)
  7. Ok, it is a not bad model, but i just hope it is not a finished state of this amazing bird. It can be enduring some working hours. It's my opinion. Keep it up guys. Regards, Krieger
  8. Ok, I think same as you dude, and i'm trying keep down the poly numbers. Just that i reply for your ED F15 datas, this state in this model contain ~270K tris, so it is far from the the 2.800.000 (some infos: 12K poly/engine, ~20K the pilot). Good day for you. Krieger
  9. Sorry, i want to wrote su-33 earlier. Info: In this state of model (with two engines, and almost finished outer body) staying from 147K poliygons.
  10. It was joke naturally. when it will be complete i will be finished. i can't say when, and how many poliy will be use for create that just approximetelly see the numbers.
