I live in an area of the Scottish Highlands that is frequented by RAF Typhoons, Tornados, A400s, Hawks and C-130s. And less frequent but equally awesome are the F-15Es & Cs that fly ludicrously low over my village and scare the crap out of the old folk. Joint Force Harrier by Adrian Orchard details a lot of systems and combat uses during his deployment to Afghanistan, pretty good read, nice details about the flight characteristics at high altitude and different types of weapons.
