  1. I don't really have a favourite, to be honest. They're just runways. Though Sochi-Adler is in a great position, right next to all the mountains for instant terrain masking, low windy flights. 8) Sochi-Adler is used a fair bit in the su27-hot-wind campaign, if you want to try it.
  2. Wow :) Me and my buddies in MA_rlins squadron used to mess around with aerobatics in IL2, we could only dream of being able to do stuff like that! :)
  3. and for those of us without the connectivity to play multiplayer, it's all we have :)
  4. I honestly use them just as a distraction/preventative measure to stop them firing slammers at me, and rely on ET, r-73 or gun when I am close.
  5. IL2 FB+AEF+PF+46 is always complimented on it's excellent flight model.
  6. I just use smoothing mode and up the sensitivity on my TIR.. no problems holding a steady view then, whilst still having snappy movement if needed.
  7. What about a generic "TODO" list, aka Backlog if you are using Agile development. Nothing too in depth.. just a general thing to keep us happy.
  8. I always leave it as default, as I too am a bit confused as to what it does, but a logical assumption would be to assume it is how effective at tracking they are. If the slider is maximum, it will be more difficult to shake off/evade a missile, where as if it is low, dumping chaff/flare would probably do the trick on it's own.
  9. 31st September only occurs every 2865.43 years, as an auxiliary day, and must be in a leap year. The likeliness that we will have a normal leap year with this special leap day (31/09) is less than the probability of the fall of civilisation.
  10. I have it mapped for electronics on/off as I already use shift+l to enable/disable my trackir. I don't know what it would normally do. Maybe something to do with hud mode 8?
  11. Hi, sorry for lack of replies.. been away the last two days. Anyway, I have shift+m mapped as what is normally shift+l - to save confusion :) I installed the english cockpit mod and it "fixed" the dials, I think the default textures may have been corrupt for some bizzare reason. Completely removed my graphics.cfg and reapplied the FPS tweak mod, which recreated the graphics.cfg file and fixed the lack of hud. I'm patched to 1.12b. Thanks for the help all.
  12. Yes, here is a screenshot:
  13. When in the 25t, and flying a mission from complete start (e.g. Death Valley) pressing shift+m for master on/off will not make any changes in the cockpit, yet the engines are able to start (not sure if they do this anyway?) Well, it's frustrating.. and I don't know what's changed on the system. I've not installed, or even used anything else. Reinstalling Lockon (from complete scratch) has made no difference, infact it's now worse.. parts of the cockpit no longer even render such as dials and the hand grip/pad under the HUD. If I fly the quickstart mission, the HUD is ok, but cockpit still has sections missing. I'm all out of ideas.. anyone else got some?
  14. Thanks IronHand, I've been using your tracks and videos for several years now, and this is the first time I've had the opportunity to say thank you :)
  15. Finally sorted.. I started again from scratch, and I think I had the wrong patch.
