  1. Getting a lock is no problem. Getting authorization to fire ("C") is.
  2. I've done some very aggressive maneuvers with a wingman to my side and have never collided with him. I've found they're pretty good at avoiding me. I wonder if this might have something to do with the CPU in your computer. I do know that in other games if you don't have a fast processor there are less computations done for the AI and that results in dumber actions/movements. I wonder if BS works the same way.
  3. I should have clarified this earlier. By "resetting" I am actually turning the laser off and back on.
  4. Yes, after resetting the laser I can get ranging and automatic tracking (TA) on a target suggesting that the laser is on. However, no "C" authorization exists so I have to switch to manual mode to fire. The missiles simply fall to the ground as if no laser was on even though the Shkval is locked on the target and the HUD reticle is properly aligned. Also, the datalink stops working partially. Some of the buttons light up but I'm not able to actually mark or send a target. At this point you have only a few options. You can attack in boresight mode, switch choppers or go get repaired at an airfield (repairing does make the problem go away).
  5. No, the laser just stops working. You can reset it and get accurate ranging again but you will no longer get a "C" authorization. The problem is being discussed in detail here: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=35496
  6. I get the same problem. For me it usually happens about 30 - 45 minutes into a flight. I can reset the laser and once again get accurate ranging information but no "C". If I launch a Vikhr manually it will just fall to the ground. Also, the datalink panel stops working correctly and I can no longer mark or send targets. The only way I've found to fix this is just to board another chopper.
