I did see someone report that apparently if you pass bx6 before launching the missiles will just go into the water.

Any response from devs?
it's literally in the changenotes for the next update that we'll be able to add/remove it (unless the mission creator chooses to block it)

The dev log for the latest update mentioned:
- AI Ground. Added the ability for SAM to evade ARM (enabled by default, but can be disabled in Set Options - Evasion of ARM). Units that detect the missile will turn off their radar(s) and displace. Units that cannot move quickly will simply turn off their radar(s). The higher the skill level, the higher the likelihood that the air defence unit will react to the incoming ARM
I spent a few hours this weekend shooting HARM's at various SAM installations and never saw this "new" behavior.
The radars just keep tracking me until my HARM's kill them like they always did.
Tested in both "high" and "expert" levels.
for at least some it does seem like you do in fact have to add a "evasion of ARM" waypoint action.

Thanks, got that...but have another question....what does "mouse aim" (mouse btn 2) actually do? Pressing it or not seems to make no difference, I move the weapon around with the mouse and fire with the LMB.......
Guess the only way to bind "Left alt C" to anything is using joy to key or similar?
By default double tapping middle mouse button should work

Hi, any idea where is a place to change Hellfire codes? In Kneeboard I see possibility to change of codes for APKWS (LAlt+LShift+2/3/4) but I didnt notice this option for Hellfires, also in ME. Thx.
it's on the weapon setup page in the cockpit

The latter three will largely need to be done by coordination with a human player over voice communications, supplemented where necessary by laser guided weapons, using the Kiowa as the laser designator
There's also BFT which seems to cover most of the stuff on the list.

Hmm, not too many bugs was solved. I hope this list will change before 3th of July. No info about sound in multiplayer (person who hasnt KW doesnt hear any sound), MMS display bugs (2/3 of the display isnt visible), no info about slew problem with MMS too (very annoying too). I hope that this list is only a part for the 3th of July.
Fairly sure why the july 3rd doesn't have too many things is that ED probably stopped accepting changes a while ago (they were initially planning an update this week)
Also the MMS display bug (if it's the one I'm thinking of) they've said is something ED must fix.

Cosmo and Alarms are all set very low. The only way I can hear them now is if I lower the volume of all the settings in options or settings in the splash screen and even then the volume is weak I started a trouble ticket today we will see.
Have you made sure to turn up the volume in the cockpit? (Rwr volume setting is on the ASE page on the MFD)

Not really, since those will apply to the radio selected by the pilot and not the copilot.

Just as a sidenote, neither of the images you've posted in this thread loads for me at all.

You can send target points and messages to other Kiowas, but at least in DCS you can't send to Apaches. So you're stuck with voice there.
(Also, currently attempting to store a received target will crash to desktop, so that's a no-go until fixed)-

Have you tried switching from UTM to lat/long?

It's the one in the doc folder, using the latest patch - so as far as I'm concerned it's the latest official version.
The bar settings will probably get explained as soon they are implemented. The actual latest official is here

You seem to be looking at an older version of the manual. Those sections are way more filled out in the most recent.
Though it doesn't seem to say much about what the bar setting does.
I'd probably guess it has to do with how tall the area the scan covers though. At least that's what most bar settings do in relation to radars.

The imperial unit stuff was added by accident to the changelog, and was not meant to be there. Maybe in the future..
If it does get added in the future, I'd love it they could be 2 separate options. While I love the imperial markings outside the altimeter, I don't care as much about the distance scale.
(And I found the 1x / 10x indicator the mod used to be less clear/slower to parse than the mil / km from the normal one)
EDIT: I'd also be just fine if you just release it as a separate mod/cockpit we can choose to install ourselves if we want it.

Still a bug, with both Rb04 and Rb15.
Also happens if you launch more than you can carry, with unlimited weapons enabled.
I'm not sure this can be classified as a "bug". While it's not realistic, is it working as HB designed it.

Why does this have .lua files? Isnt kneeboards just suposed to me jpeg or png? and why does it have to go in the core folder and not saved games?
I think that might be from when the kneeboard pack was newly released, these days you can just drop the image files in the correct kneeboard folder and they'll work just fine

Does this mean that the @MYSE1234 cockpit textures mod is no longer needed?
And if it's no longer needed, what about the altimeter foot scale sub-mod?

I can get the AP alt hold to work, but not alt select; I've tried as many combinations and orders of options as I can think of and nothing will force the plane to climb or descent to my selected altitude. Hopefully AP functionality is still WIP?
Are you adding/removing power after selecting your desired altitude?

It'll repeatedly take screenshots of the display when RCD is active, how often depends on what screen is shown.

OH-58 How to transition from AI hover to pilot controlled forward flight
in DCS: OH-58 Kiowa
Posted
why do you need forward movement to counter this? shouldn't you be able to just add more collective?
