  1. I don't have the Swiss, Austrian, or Norwegian liveries. Are these not currently included? It's fine if it's not, I'm just trying to figure out if this is installed correctly. I believe the ones that are "coming soon" are the Vietnam era, Swiss demo, IRIAF, and aggressor forest. Thanks.
  2. I bought and installed the remastered F-5 today. I only have 4 liveries (Air Force Gray, MiG-28, Navy adversary, and one other), none of the ones that are advertised. I don't recall the details of the original, so I'm not 100% sure if the remaster is actually installed. On the launcher, the remaster is selected. I turned off the selection for the vanilla F-5 to make sure, and no change. Any ideas?
  3. Thanks Baltic Dragon for the response. I just want to say that it's awesome that you're so involved with your module and consistently work to improve the product, very refreshing these days! I don't have any 3rd party mods installed, do not use or have VAICOM or Voice Attack installed, have tried in both MT and ST, and have run a full (slow) repair of DCS and no luck. My concern wasn't necessarily this mission, I just didn't want to invest the time in the follow-on missions just to find out they were unplayable hours into them. The good news is mission 3 seems to be working well, although I ran out of time and didn't get to finish it. Anyway, thanks again for looking into it!
  4. I just posted this question in a different thread, but ran across this one just now. Sorry for the double tap. I’m having the same issue. Did a long repair, no mods installed of any kind, not using voice commands. I’m on the latest OB version and have tried both multi and single thread versions. This thread was started a little while back. Any updates? Thanks.
  5. I'm having an issue with mission 2 that I don't see any info on. I launch before Smoke as I'm supposed to, but he never joins on my wing, he simply launches off, eventually makes a turn southeast, then drones along at 2,500' indefinitely. On the F-10 map it shows his callsign as Springfield 71 while mine is Springfield 21. I would think his should be Springfield 22. Anyway, this makes the mission unplayable. I've tried in both Multithread and single thread DCS versions. I have no mods of any sort and do not use any voice control. Any help would be great, thanks.
  6. Cloud Surfing Here's another one, it's from a few years ago. We were deployed to Al Asad Airbase, Iraq. There were clouds, and our tactical mission got canceled, so what else is there to do other than some cloud surfing? Well, there was some of that in addition to practicing some "ditch" maneuvers (something very difficult to do with a heavy load out). This was the very first video I edited, so I apologize for the terrible editing and general boringness. It gets a bit repetitive too. Anyway, enjoy.
  7. NoJoe, glad you enjoyed it. I hate it when the taxi directors get us over the edge like that. It's one thing during the day, but at night, it's...sporty. There's A LOT of trust in those 18 year old kids taxiing us around literally inches from the deck edge and other jets!
  8. To tell you the truth, I don't really know. I live in Anacortes and pretty much just go to Oak Harbor for work.
  9. Growler Carrier Qual, take 2. Ok, the video should be fixed...and with a thumbnail (thanks Python). Home Fries, yes, I'm out of Whidbey Island.
  10. Growler Carrier Qual Long time lurker, not a whole lot of posts. Anyway, here goes. I figured you guys would enjoy a little snapshot of carrier ops. Sorry, no sweet music or anything, but some decent visuals. This was taken during a "carrier qualification" period in the EA-18G Growler, so you'll see me taxiing right from a trap to a catapult...not standard cyclic ops on the boat. Anyway, enjoy!
  11. Hello all, I have a quick question. I just downloaded Tacview 0.95 and cannot get it to work with Flaming Cliffs 2.0. It works fine with Black Shark. I have tried everything, including manually installing the .lua files in the export directory, and still no joy. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
  12. In US military aircraft, you set your nav lights to flash if you lose your radios and are in a "NORDO" (no-radio) situation. This lets people on the ground, tower for example, know that you can't communicate and to clear any traffic that may be in your way, and they will send you a set of light signals that lets you know your either clear to land or tell you to go around. They also know you are NORDO when you set a 7600 squawk code in your transponder, but in certain tactical situations, you don't have that mode of your transponder operating, so the flashing nav lights are the only way to let them know.
