Well as a lot of other users, I experience a strong perfrformance drop since version 1.2.6 of DCS, although nothing changed on my computer system (specs in sig). Even after reducing a lot of options in the DCS settings, there's still a lot of stuttering, fps drop, caching, micro freezes and so on. I read several other threads, wich were not helpful at all. I'm now down to following settings: Texture: High Scenery: High Traffic: Off Water: Low Visib Range: Medium Heat Blur: Off Shadows: Low Resolution: 1920x1080 Aspect Ratio: 16:9 Monitors: 1 Res. of Cockpit Displays: 512 MSAA: Off HDR: Off Clutter/Bushes: 0 Trees Visibility: 4741m Preload Radius: 37380m Disable Aero Interface: Yes Tree Shadows: Off Vsync: On Fullscreen: On Cockpit Shadows: Off TSSAA: Off Mini HUD: Off Mirrors: Off Birds: 0 As system I am using: Windows 7 Pro, 64bit Quadcore AMD Phenom II 955 4x3,2 Ghz CPU 4 GB RAM Nvidia GeFore GTX 460 SE with 327.23 driver Nothing useless running in the background. As I said, this system worked well with DCS pre 1.2.6 with most settings higher than now! So I have my hope you guys have some useful hints for me, how to optimize my DCS, so that it runs smoother. I have bought and installed all available DCS modules, so I spent some money. Would be nice if I could use it again. Not using mods in any way. Thanks in advance for any hint, Airway

Hallo, Seit Version 1.2.6 plagen mich (und offenbar einige andere User) starke Performance Probleme in DCS, die es vorher nicht gab. Ruckeln, Mikrofreezes, lange Ladezeiten, stottern, Cachen und Nachladeorgien, etc) Habt Ihr hier in den Tiefen des Forums irgendwo eine Anleitung gesehen um die Leistung von DCS zu optimieren? Wollte eigentlich nicht auf 800x600 runter und die letzten Optionen auch noch abschalten.

Force Autoupdate Hey there, Autoupdate failed in it's 1st try and it seems that the autoupdate funktion is only checking for updates once in a while, so how can I manually force DCS to check for updates?

I must add myselt to this thread as I got performance problems with 1.2.6 and the Mi-8 modulde from Belsimtek. Loading is not the major issue for me. It is stuttering and buffering ingame, Changing view and panning around causes seconds long freezes that didn't occur with earlier versions and other modules. Hardwarespecs as in signature

Issue on both - Flash and html5 version on Youtube But I wonder what the teaser wants to tell me. Can't connect it to FA/18 Is it a new map maybe? Nothing else seen in that very short sequence,

Everything seems ok again with AVAST Free Antivirus 8.0.1489 & database 130802-2

There is a false report of World.dll in AVAST Free Antivirus 8.0.1489 with database 130801-1 Used in the report function of Avast to report the alert as false, but yet Avast prevents DCS: World 1.25 from starting on my machine. :(

Vielen Dank für die ausführliche Beschreibung, aber die Einstellungen "Anwendungen und unsichere Dateien starten" waren bereits auf "Bestätigen" Habe sonst bei Hostern wie Dropbox, Mega oder Rapidshare auch nie Probleme gehabt, weder im Firefox, noch im Chrome. Ich warte mal die kommende Version ab. Vielen Dank für eure Hilfe!

Gerade v1.25 Update installiert und entdecke unten Icons für A-10 A und Su-25A, die ich aber weder im Eshop noch bei den Modulen finde. Dachte auch, dass FC3 Besitzer die kostenlos bekommen. Was ist jetzt Stand der Dinge und zu tun? Gruß, Airway

I keep getting random "DCS has stopped working" crashes to desktop, but no crash logs in the desired folder (v1.2.3). All I get there is: There are a lot (a hell lot!) of error messages in those *.log files too. Are these helpful for bugfixing too or is anything wrongly configured to generate crash log on my computer?

Without any notice if the log was helpful or not, posting them seems useless.
