Guys, I am kind of clueless here but I may be in a situation where I need to use a laptop for playing DCS for a period of time. My s are - what would be the acceptable specs for say a 17 inch laptop to handle DCS? I don’t even know what’s considered high end in laptops. Anyway, I’ll start some research but thought I’d ask here and see if I can find some people with real experience and or knowledge of using a laptop with DCS and what works well etc. Thanks

I believe they will make more bases. I mean you have Baur working there now and he’s like the king of bases so I believe there will be a second wave of bases. Only seems logical. I also think virpil underestimated demand in the past. Hopefully that gets worked out too.

I actually glad I didn’t get this grip and I don’t mean to knock any buyers who got a CM2 because I own an original cm but I want the upgraded trigger. I’m going to hold out for that. The original trigger will probably last forever for most people but I’d still like the upgrade. Just my .02 cents.

A lot of guys stayed up to buy this and got screwed. Pretty poor Virpil. I’ve spent over a grand on products from you guys and this is bs. Many posts in the virpil forums about the same issue.

I just read the first batch won’t have the upgraded trigger???! I’m confused now. Something weird is going on. I don’t believe they sold any. I think they pulled them from sale. Just my personal belief. I had one in my cart too and then bang. Out of stock.

Same thing with me. Sounds like a glitch. I can’t believe they are out of stock.

All fixed now. I had a conflict with another device. I knew it had to be an easy fix.

I will check that and I will also make sure there are no other assignments to the x and y axis in the DCS key mapping. I don’t think there are but will double check. Thx guys

Yes it does work in the vpc configuration tool.

Ok. I have my Virpil software working now. It is showing PCB version 3 and the buttons are working fine in DCS. DCS seems to identify my stick in the mapping section(X and Y). However when I run DCS the roll and pitch do not work. The buttons on the stick work fine but for some reason I can’t get the roll and pitch to work. I have to be doing something wrong in the programming in DCS. Any suggestions? Thanks Also, the pitch and roll worked fine without the software when I initially plugged the stick in and ran DCS.

Well I was wrong. Somehow I missed an email November 9th. So Virpil did respond quickly as they did with my missing throttle so I was wrong. Thanks Virpil.
