The sites on that map don't have coordinates...do people just fly to the general area and then find the FARP or comm array?

Other than how to talk to ATC or GCI, are there any other situations where you'd need to use structured radio calls with anyone else?

That's a ton of codes! I'm just looking for some of them that are the most important, ones that DCS pilots use the most

What are some basic Brevity words to know other than: Tally, no joy, visual, blind, fox, rifle, pickle, splash, shack, Spike, and nails? In addition, what are some standard radio calls that pilots make? For example, in one of Ralfidude's videos, before takeoff he said "Sukhumi traffic, Dagger 1-1 taking the active runway 30 for northbound departure". This seems very professional and I'm wondering what other standard, pro radio calls are out there

So A-10C AFACs dont take mavericks or bombs? I imagine that they would, just in case

Yeah, I think they'd probably take less ordnance to increase speed and maybe time on station. Loadout would probably consist of just AIM-9s, EMC, TGP, and WP rockets

What ordinance does a Hog flying AFAC usually take? I think the standard loadout for a CSAR/CAS/Strike mission is 2xAIM-9s, ECM, TGP, 1x WP, 2x Mavericks, 4x bombs Do AFACs take lighter loads (or maybe fuel tanks) for longer time on station?

Oh. I guess the only difference between the usual load out and an AFAC/CSAR load out is WP rockets. Do you guys know what other roles the A-10 can perform besides Striker, CAS, AFAC, and CSAR?

Hello all, trying to figure out realistic load outs for the Warthog based on it's mission. For strikes/CAS: 2xAIM-9, ECM pod, TGP, 7x HE Rockets, 2xMavericks, 4xGBUs But what is a realistic load out for a Warthog doing AFAC or CSAR? I'm assuming they take a lighter load, maybe only Mavs and no bombs?
