  1. Does it happen with the correct shutdown procedure too? I think when I don't use the Apu and shut down all at once the rotor never stops. But with the correct procedure the shutdown works.
  2. I think the advantage is that it regenerates your last parameters, the first time you start it. This seems to be a bit faster as the regenerate button.
  3. Hi Reflected, I was testing your FoxPlusHandler script from the Marianas mission and I noticed the Shrike name must have changed with the latest update. The event was not firing for the shrike launch, but it works now when AGM-45 is changed to AGM-45A. I hope this helps for the next fix
  4. Could somebody explain how to get started? I wanted to try what heatblur has written in the jester api section in the F4e manual. https://f4.manuals.heatblur.se/dcs/modding/jester/lua_api.html But I'm struggling with two problems. 1. When I open the mentioned lua files in the jester folder they contain not only plain text. Also with visual studio code I can not open them correctly. I guess it means these are not source files but already compiled lua files? 2. Where do I put my new lua files? Can I just write them with Notepad++ or do I need to compile them first and than add them to the jester folder in mods/f4e?
  5. This was fixed in today's update!
  6. I had no time to test this. But the stutters in flight seem to be caused by the F15, with other planes I had no problems.
  7. From the back seat you should be able to scroll the mfd pages with the coolie hat switch forward/aft as stated in the manual. I testet this in single player, switched to the back seat and set up the mfd page programming as described in the tutorial mission. Scrolling with the buttons on the left and right handgrip is not working. It works only in the front seat.
  8. Regarding multithreading on my system (i9-12900KF) the latest patch has nothing fixed. I even disabled hyper threading, but I still have mouse lag in menus and mission editor. Even worse are severe stutters in game. These kicked in with the F15 after a flight time of about 25 min on the Syria map and then I had stutters every 1 or 2 seconds.
  9. @Hawkeye60that would be great to have a working bridge. With the M60 Bridetank I have the problem, that it does not stay unfolded on the suez channel. I trigger the animation with fire at point and its constantly folding/unfolding. Maybe the water is too large and it needs to reach the bank?
  10. @Hawkeye60 I added the 'canSwim' property to the M60. Now I can drive or place it in the water. But I can not controll how to unfold the bridge. Is there an option or a command to do this?
  11. The M60 bridge tank is great! I will try to modify a copy of it, so that it is floating and can start in an extended state.
  12. @Coupon4Coffin @Hawkeye60 Thanks for the great answers! I have not made any mods myself so far, but I will try if I can implement these modifications. And I will try out this ponton laying tank now! Thanks a lot for the link.
  13. This is how it should look like:
  14. Hello, I tried to recreate some historic battles along the suez channel and I wanted to set up ponton bridges. Any ideas if there are some mods which could help here? So far I have found nothing to create ponton bridges. The only solution I found is to use single helipads. This seems to be the only structure, which I can place on the water. Units can even drive on it, but the AI pathfinding does not work here. Just for amphibious units it is possible that they also drive over the immersed helipads accidentaly, while driving through the water.
  15. I also have some problems when I start dcs again after ending one session. Then I have strong mouse lag in menus and longer loading times for missions.
