  2. Hello, in my AG mission i used mavericks Fs and after target locks i used Ralt+Space fore weapon release [first Ralt and then Space] that works nice! Then i switched over to AA with Amraam 120Cs and after lock and shoot signal the release Ralt+Space does not work !! I have to use Space+Ralt [ first Space than Ralt] before a succesful release occurs.! Is there some body who can explain me why there is a difference in releasing methode?
  3. 7 april 2024. Hello, I created a mission with f18s and supercarrier in Caucacus.When you operate as player/client taxiing on an Airport or flying, your HUD Heading is normal synchronised with the HSI and SA page,that is normal! But when you taxi or been parked on a carrierdeck you can see that there is NO synchronisation between HUD Heading,HSI and SA page at all.This results in wrong position of Hafu symbols on the SA page!See screenshots.
  4. Hi,Thanks for all info.I can live with it, I tried to find in the documentation of the f18c of there is some connection between MIDS and TACAN. Also in SA page there is no description of those connections.
  5. Indeed with the TCN off the symbols disappeared but they should do this with the D/L switch in off, because the TCN is a complete different and separed system.Ofcours all the other ownship onboard sensors like EWR and Radar should be switched off. So the D/L switch is not working.
  6. Hello, I created a mission with f18s and supercarrier in Caucacus.I saw on the SA page HAFU symbols from f18s even with EWR,radar,Dlink and IFF switches in OFF position !!. On the ground or carrierdeck and in the Air. My question is where does this symbols come from .

Hello,I tried to get a green ir view via rshift+h and all the night swiches in night position and NVG on.Also the bindings are in default and working,but the night vision goggles view is not popping up in f18c.I followed Grim Reapers videos on this particular item ,but no results .Maybe somebody knows a solution ? I use the stable version with the latest update.
  9. I found the reason for the line 4 catches and Bolters in ACLS. The IFF and BCN switches were boxed on and they have a bad influence on the ACLS ! With only the TAC , ILS and DL switches ON this ACLS system gives nice line 3 catches and no bolters anymore ! I have only one question more, why is the traffic controler giving -concur fly mode 2- while the ACLS screen gives -Mode 1- ?
  10. Hello Thanks for your reaction but INS boxed and NAV switch to IFA does not change the presentation of the left DDI. See the screenshot. I think ED took the wrong reference for the EADI procedure in combination with ILS needles.
  11. Hello, according F18c book page 87 and 88 you can use the left or right DDI for an ICLS approach in case of HUD failure ! Is there an explanation why ED uses the waterline as reference i.s.o. Velocityvector for the ILS needles .On a normal approach the decendline is about 3 degrees nosedown of the artificial horizonline in the HUD and the alternate procedure gives about 5 degrees noseup above the artificial horizonline of the EADI ! Hello,I created one cvn 71 with one F18c to test the acls.The weather is Cavok and No wind.The ships speed is 20Kts.The F18 is clean wih full internal tanks.After T/O the first catch is wire 4 and all the subsequent catches are Bolters exept the last catch is wire 4 because i pushed the stick at the last moment because of mimimum fuel ! Last stable update was 02.08.2023. Sometimes also the first catch is a wire 4. So I think ED has to fine tune this system. With Regards. Theodore Roosevelt CAR ACLS.miz.trk

I was out from dcs several months ,i updated to 2.8.1.34667 and use 1 screen 3840x2160p 4K .The mouse cursor[white arrow] looks normal when starting up a mission at the moment i start the fly window the cursors [yellow cross and green turnknob] looks compressed.The cursors stays normal when i use 2560x1600. I had this before about 2 years ago and one of the members gave me a keyboard combination to switch from compressed to normal. I forgot this combination and hope that someone can help me .I could not find it in keyboardlists.And ofcourse i want to use 3840x2160 with normal cursors.
  14. Hello,I use Stable V 2.5.6.59625.1 F18 at 17000ft with 250kts In picture A nil weather input the Tpod gives a complete Kobuleti Apt picture. In B with weather Cloud base 4000ft and max thickness of 6500ft with density 10 the Tpod shows only the Apt but skips the technical and munition areas.Why?

Hello, thanks for your reaction,I tried to designate in the right DDI in my stable version on the intersection of Kobulet Rwy with several redesignations in active Pause.As you can see in the screenshot the designation cross should have been at the white arrow.The left DDI gave the correct diamond camera postion resuting in a full hit.I still have the idea that the EXP mode presentation has a fault in the airport presentation as well as an 7 degrees.fault in heading of the AGradar.

Used latest stable version and bombs GBU-38 [mode=TOO] on Target Kobuleti via Wpt2 [midpoint Rwy] when you designate the Wpt as Tgt it is difficult to find the X on the AG map radar because of color and brightnes of the X.Using EXP 2 and 3 looks OK but when you create a designation on the presented Rwy picture on EXP3 you can not hit that Rwy ,most probably because the presented airport overlay is not exact over the airport map position.So for IFR attacks is this AG radar so far useless! I also wonder why the AG radar heading differs 7 degrees from the HUD and HSI heading,so if you fly 270 degrees on Hud and HSI the Radar heading gives 277.Hopefully there is an update on the way with improvements.

Jtac coordinates MDS MOD for F18 Hello, I have no idea about F16 but the F18 input for JTAC [ Precise Boxed ] Wpts for Lat and Lon you still needs a calculator to divide the last 4 numbers including the decimals [xx.xx ] by 60 to get the correct position for your litening pod pointing to the exact target position with Wptdsg. Needed for locating a taget [tank] under trees with FLIR.The Jtac info is only correct for Jdam input,then you need no correction [calculator] ! This is in DCS ,the MOD is Correct.:(
  19. Jtac coordinates MDS MOD for F18 Hello Ramsay thanks for your help,I think that the text and sound of the jtac must be [ N 41° 54.5170' E 41° 51.4560'] . So that you can put this direct into the UFC with precise boxed.Because you do not have to use a calculator anymore.

Jtac coordinates MDS MOD for F18 Hello I installed last update MDS Mod for F18 using gbu 12 with Litening Pod.My created Tgt at Pos GG370436 [N41545170 E41514560 at 110ft ]Installed via UFC precise created a Wpt 3 that pointed my liteningpod CCD direct on my target and even without slewiing and after designating gave a perfect hit ! But the Text and Sound from JTAC gives not the correct position.I checked the Map and Lalt+y, the JTAC Coordinates [N41543104 E41512736 at 110ft ]does not bring your Liteningpod CCD on the Tgt,!It looks like they used the wrong Map page.Hopefully Mu 110 can repair it? I send some sreenshots.

Hi Guys, I am using the stable version and used 3 moving targets heading away from me.Code i used 1688.When auto lock was folowing 1 target , the HUD gave me at 10nm the info ":in Range: when you start lasing [ TRIG Boxed} and releasig the MAV-E it will not hit the Target because the missile engine stopped and/or the auto stop lasing function is activated before she reached the target.So wait with Lasing and Releasing until 8 nm for the time being until ED has fixed this.Lasing at 8 nm and Release at 7 nmn works fine. Have Fun.

Hello , until last update I was often [ not always] able to deliver 3 to 4 AGM 65-Fs on 4 moving targets in good and bad weather in one run ,using slewing in PTRK ,when using AGM 65-E I had to lase during the hole flighttime for that weapon but when lasing was not correct folowing the target I was able to slew the laser back on that target,only one AGM 65-E per run, this kind of operation was only possible because I was able to use slewing in ATRK and PTRK with automatic Lockon on moving targets when in range and in picture contrast and designated.The last Update gave us precise target position ,target range and attitude info in screen but Hopefully that slewing in PTRK comes back ASAP!

In DCS 1,5 I used the 5 minutes Power saving mod from Microsoft and thatt worked fine after pausing a mission and is still working ok but in DCS 2.5 this is not working at all, so the screen never goes off and also the computer can not go to the sleeping mode,Maybe somebody knows a solution.:(
