Great news for the true believers!

I would not hold my breath waiting for such a development. How long ago was the KA 50 mentioned as an add on to Lomac? When was SOW BOB first muted? And its not even near release...In our genre, flight simming it is a long time between drinks. We are lucky that BS has finally landed. And well worth the wait. The bar has been raised.

I will attest to the above quote. The developers have done a great job. I have a 128 meg graphics card. I can play this sim with settings on low. I was amazed that I even was able to install the sim.

Those exchange fees...Kerching!!! Money for old rope! Probably going into somebodys coffers in the Cayman Islands or such.

Just a note on performance-I am pleasantly surprised how well it runs on my rig, given that my graphics card is below minimum specs. Of course graphics in options are toned down. Nonetheless, kudos to the developers for exceeding my expectations. It is playable. My fear was that it wouldn't even install due to specs not being met.

Just on the flying the KA-50 in BS. When flying the SU-25T in Lomac FC, my strategy is to fly the autopilot which in turn fly's the aircraft, with exceptions in combat etc. Does the KA -50 employ extensive auto pilot options and are people making the fullest use of them?

Admin-is there an address to email perhaps explaining straight up what you are trying to achieve? Anyone got their head around the paypal to webmoney transfer? I was close to throwing in the towel, but will persevere. Have my webmoney acc setup, have 1c setup. Or if anyone can suggest anyother way to get dosh into webmoney, I am listening.

I need a little handholding with paypal to webmoney. I have created a USD account and Rouble account in Webmoney, correct so far? Any step by step would be most appreciated. We dont have UKash downunder, which seems less pain. BTW has anybody seen discussion on site that *cough* shall not be mentioned *cough* regarding release of western ver via steam? Thats good! Come upgrade time, resources can go into a decent CPU and ram, plus a GPU thats good enough, rather than having to go best of breed, as you would have to do for the latest FPS games. Money saved. Flight sims have traditionally been CPU tied primarily. We still await a multi threaded flight sim to take advantage of dual cores, IIRC Falcon 4 was multi threaded, not sure how well it worked. Remember all the talk about phyics cards, offloading to the GPU, doesnt seem too much software being written to take advantage of developments. Somebody else might like to chime in.

I am in the same boat. I have an AMD 64 3200 cpu, 128 meg 6600gt card, 1 gig of ram, XP Pro. Could I play on my sys, with settings toned down. FC plays quite well on my sys, so long as there is not huge amounts of stuff going on. Eye candy is nice, but happy to keep things toned down so long as the functionality is there.

Hi all Just for the heck of it, I set up a mission to test the effectiveness of the SPPU gun pods against MOVING soft targets. The logic being these would make an ideal soft target convoy bashing weapon. However, while I can accurately hit static soft targets, I am finding the pods, combined with targeting via the TV/mercury pod (for night), lasing are inaccurate against moving targets, despite being properly locked, lased etc. Anyone have experiences with this? Have I missed a step? Will try autopilot alt 6 and TV acq. Come to think of it, the barrells can depress, but traverse to track a moving target? Any how having a blast in the Toad whilst waiting for the western release of Black Shark. Should be FUN. In a very grognardian, nerdy kind of way! Cheers

Yes thanks to Ironhand and Vekkinho. Problem solved. I have four USB disparate inputs into FC. Trying to map something on my Saitek Throttle screwed up an axis on my CH joystick. Plus removing, disabling Mouse etc has cleared things up amazingly. Just too much potential for conflict when using TIR, Saitek throttle, CH joystick and generic pedals. Thanks again.

Hi all Just a small problem with FC 112. When I go to external views after being in the game for a period of time, the views start to rotate at a high speed. Odd. I have a Track IR 3 Pro. Could that be related. Anyone else had that problem? Thanks

Hi all I had a spare CRT monitor around, so I installed Touchbuddy, local mode. No touchscreen, just using the CRT (800 X 600 res)with mouse. However, on my sys, AMD 3200, 6600gt nvidia card, 1 gig ram, 22" LCD monoitor, native res, I am getting a real performance hit. Guess my sys isnt up to running two monitors and FC at the same time. Anybody had similar experiences out there, come up with a workaround. Touchbuddy does seem a very intuiative way to manage the systems. Thanks
