Will the folks who bought the A-10 beta still receive this as per agreement? Or was this subject to change in the fine print?

Perhaps you could confirm this with a few 7.62s threw your PC case and make sure not to hit the power cable and see if your screen goes black or just flickrs a little :lol:

Same problem with me. First time threw I thought I just got ahead of the instructions, then after about 2 mins and fliping a bunch of switches I was instructed to enter 2 for the flares. Restarted mission and just waited, flew half way to New York but never received the instruction. Using Beta 4

Good call El Roto! I guess the "x" inside the box should have been a good indication for me. Not to mention the training mission has you at 17000 feet, and my quick mission started at 5000. I just needed a phone book under my ass to slew the box that low in the HUD.

When instructed to slew cursor on the HUD and designate ground as target, TMS Forward does not work with default key (up, lctrl) or by assigned HOTAS button. I started an instant action mission and TMS forward works fine, just does not work in that training mission. I forgot to add that I think I am using beta 4, just downloaded last night Feb 14

I think you fail to see my point. If you are belted into ANY aircraft no matter where it is manufactered and you bank to the left the horizon outside will appear to roll to the right. If you roll the aircraft inverted the horizon outside will look upside down because your body and head will be upside down with the aircraft so the overhead panel is still over your head, the cyclic is still on the floor. This is not the case w/BS, the horizon outside is ALWAYS level. When I bank into a turn the visual on the screen is horizon stays level and the cockpit rolls. I am aware of the coriolis effect between northern hemisphere and south. Is there anything I am missing between east and west?

Check and delete any axis assignment that was added to your microstick. Probably added when u installed.

What about the real horizon? Why does the aircraft roll like my head is attached by a string on the ceiling? The horizon always appears to be level. If I put the AC upside down the horizon is still level. Is there an option somwhere to change this? Seems kind of hard to believe somthing like this could be missed.

When I bank the aircraft why does the chopper rotate and not the horizon? The horizon gyros dont roll with bank either, just the the little thing that looks like a flight director. I have all options to sim/real too. Anyone else notice this?

Just adding my opinion real quik. Cockpit is simply amazing to click around in, the sounds of different buttons and toggle switches is great. The overall sounds are awsome, every thing from the main rotors thumping inside and out (flyby view sounds are bad a$$) to the sound of your wingman forming up. When you fire the cannons you compensate with a little left rudder and thats cool. Exterior visual model rocks. I have the graphics maxed except for water. Terrain mesh seems comparable to FS 2004 and thats ok because the look of cities and buildings more then make up for that. This is a must have for any true simmer. I will admit that I was not that interested in BS because I normally prefer to blow up Russian stuff ( and eventually will via the Hog and Apache) but I feel this a very accurate sim and is worth a good word. It has been very stable (no bsod or CTD) on vista 64, 4 GB PC6400ram, Q6600 @ 3.2, Nvidia 9600GT 512mb.

Anyone using CH pedels and CH Combat stick? By default BS was using x and y axis (toe brakes) on the pedals for the cyclic and z axis (yaw) on the pedals for the collective. I wonder if that is why some people are having a hard time controlling the Shark? I tried to assign a different axis letter (R, U, V) for the pedals in the CH ctrl mngr with no luck inside the sim. So I have unplugged the pedals for now, but it stinks using the key board for controlling yaw.

Anyone figure how to disable the mouse view? I just want my pointer back for clicking around the cockpit.

Coming in @ 58kb/s now :cry: but the jump from 40 to 58 knocked off 2 hours dl time, so I will be :pilotfly:in about 2 hours now. Also, to let people from the U.S. know, paypal worked. I did as MV explained a few threads back and wrote admin a response after starting the ticket, they replied in 10 minutes via email with the link to paypal, just had to punch in my pass and confirm payment. Five mins later the money was in my Web acct. Thanks again to everyone who has contributed to this thread!! We almost need a different sticky with instructions for North America/ download.
