@currenthill : DCS ships like the Moskva or the Molnya have destructible weapons, radars, and CIWS. I've noticed that your new ship models integrated into DCS don't have thoses destructibles subsystems. I tried to destroy the Tor or the gun of a Project 22160 Patrol Ship, but there are no subsystems. Sending a KH-25ML (With a KA-50) at the Tor won't destroy it; its hitpoint is tied to the ship's functionality. So, even if the ship is damaged down to 2% of its hitpoint, it still remain fully operational. I think it's important to integrate subsystems into ships, at least for the armament and radar. Only the very old models dating back to the early days of DCS like the Grisha or the Krivak lack subsystems, and unfortunately, that's why they're often shunned by players (besides the outdated nature of their design). Do you plan to make the gun or the Tor of Project 22160 destructible? -

Pantsir & Tor are both used as CIWS for naval battleship. So yes, technicaly they are good weapons to intercept missiles. For example, Russian carrier Admiral Kuznetsov use Tor for his buble protection (and Kashhan, a system like Tunguska). More modern ship like Karakurt class use Pantsir for CIWS -
It's accurate : They have very hight precision. US don't use MLRS like Russians : They used it as a sniper, when Russian use MLRS to make a saturation zone. The true issue is with TOS-1 Who have a lack of dispersion the last time I test it. TOS-1 must have dispersion because it must impact large zone.

My wishlist to put into DCS Core : - Aerotransportable Infantry (ATGM !!! (Kornet, Javelin...) / AT / Snipers / Mortars, for both red / blue side) - Unarmed pilot for CSAR missions ! (and why not civilians for rescues / hostages operations) -Wheeled artillery (Caesar, PCL-181, 2S23 Nona-SVK...) - Modern french and Germany asset (You have made Germany cold War asset pack for Germany map, but it will be great to have some french assets (modern or cold war too) like Caesar, AMX-30, AMX-10RC, VBL, Leclerc, Crotale, to populate European front with modern or end of cold war period (we have what we need in russian side, except diversified infantry) so we can simulate European war with not only Russian versus US forces. French army is deeply underrepresented in DCS. And more sweedish units for Kola Map. We must populate the news map with locales army assets ! - Drones (VTOL, for reco, kamikaze, bombig...) I dream to couple VTOL drone with wheeled artillery with lua scripting to create dynamic battlefield. Adding Shaded missile will be appreciated to make anti drones missions !

I agree with Migow : The issue with tree in Syria isn't fix. Tree in Syria don't protect from SAM as it do in other map. We can't really use forest as safe cover.

It's possible to simulate that with a lua script. Capture the event fire, the target emplacement, remove the weapon and create flares at the position
