This is all on a fresh install of DCS, I nuked the old install to see if it would fix the problem but it had no effect. This is also using a fresh savedgames DCS folder, and a fresh install of Windows 11 after a reformat. No mods are installed, everything is running vanilla. I am on Nvidia drivers 566.36, BIOS is on the latest update, chipset is updated. Cores are not parked. Tried with XMP disabled. The game install is whitelisted in windows defender, so is the savedgames folder. Sometimes I am able to get into an instant action mission, sometimes it CTD's with no option to send off the error log. Every time I bring up server select, it will freeze for long periods of time until the server list is completely refreshed. On some servers I am able to get past coalition select, on others it will just freeze. Technically the game is still running, it is just running at less than 1 FPS. It will occasionally update the chat log etc. It appears to only be using 2 CPU cores when this occurs, both pegged to 100% load. Logs and timestamped videos included. After the last update to DCS, in all eras, with all planes (modern, gold war, ww2), as a client, while you put them in the airports in the ROUTE tab in TYPE in any position that is "hot" and in single player it plays fine, in multiplayer games it always puts them "cold".

For the past couple of months I have been experiencing an issue with the Aim-9x on specifically multiplayer servers using the F-16 (in single player missions it works just fine). Even though I did all the steps in order for the missile to successfully engage the target, such as waiting for a good tone, pressing the uncage button, and then firing, it never tracked onto the target. It just flew forward and then into the ground. Does anyone know why I am having this problem and how I should fix it?

Moving mouse while interacting with cockpit elements prevent the bug from happening. Very slow movements prevent the bug from happening. Unable to reproduce on singleplayer. The issue is a lot worse when recording with a x264 cpu encoder instead of NVIDIA HEVC.

This issue was experienced in MT in the latest Open Beta build. Cold started the F-16 in the Gray Flag PG server. I switched the aircraft to A-A on the ICP while on the ground and the game completely froze. I asked my wingman to do the same (same circumstances), and the game froze for him as well. Steps to replicate the problem: 1. Start jet from cold in a multiplayer server with multi-threading 2. Enter A-A from the ICP (on ground FCR/datalink -on) The problem was able to replicate 70% of the time in MT with 3 different users making multiple attempts. The problem did not exist when tested in Single Thread gameplay.

Today I was trying an Air-to-Ground mission with the SU-25T and I noticed something wrong with the compass readout of my Heading whenever I get out of any NAV mode. The problem is: When I'm in any of the Navigation Modes, the HUD reads my heading correctly, but the analog HSI compass seems to be flipped/misaligned, pointing me to a completely different heading. And when I switch to any other mode (A-G or A-A), both readings get wrong. For instance, I picked up a slot on Rota Island, where the Frogfoot spawns on ground, facing north. While still on ground, when I switch into A-G mode, the HUD changes my HDG tape reading something around 165~175-ish. The problem persists while I'm flying. The analog HSI ALWAYS reads incorrectly, regardless of what Mode I'm in. As far as I've tested, this bug doesn't happen in Single Player, only in Multiplayer and only in the Marianas map. Hello everyone, the other day I did a clean installation of DCS, installed a couple of modules, but we were able to play on only one server, on the other servers I catch Net Sim post start crashes. Salut, j'ai un problème et j'espère que quelqu'un peut m'aider à le résoudre. DCS tourne nickel en solo mais dés que j'essaie de me connecter à un serveur le jeu crashe immédiatement. Sling load didt work correct on dedicated server. When u try hover and hook cargo,the line will go somewhere else.

I am playing fine with the single thread. But when i open the game from bin-mt folder after a while game crashes without error code or anything. I am not using vr.

Yesterday, myself and a few others tried to shoot down this KA-27 which took damage (was on fire) but nothing beyond that despite many hits. Here's the Tacview; -edit: hi-res version I've seen this before with the KA-27, and I'm unsure if it was on the same MP server.

Hi, My specs (laptop): Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-8300H CPU @ 2.30GHz Gforce GTX 1050 ti 16 GB RAM SSD NVME samsung 970 EVO The issue in multiplayer (I have no mods): Until last two open beta updates everything was fine. I was running 40 FPS on medium/high settings (40 is ok for me I like shadows in DCS ). After the last two updates I have momentary drops of FPS to 3-7 and then back to 40. Additionally it is not stable and going up and down all the time. It takes longer to load the map. After going out of the server it takes longer. It takes also longer to exit the game. Doesn’t matter if it’s on Multi Threading or stable version. I made some test: - I have made full repair of DCS. - Cleaned the registry. - Run DCS with low settings (all to low and off). - Use less populated server (only me) with almost no ping. - Updated the drivers and windows. - Switched off the windows defender and antivirus. - Turned off full screen optimalisation. No changes. Maxumimum FPS is 70 but it is going up and down like crazy with momentary drops to 3-7 FPS. What is strange it sometimes works fine when I restart DCS. It is totally fine in single player. I will be grateful with some suggestions or “translation” of my log (attached). The log was created while playing on low graphics settings. Thanks! dcs.log

My brother and I were fed up with the horrific FPS in other multiplayer servers, so I made a mission with just 2 MiG-21's flying right at us to practice getting a radar lock and hosted it myself from the multiplayer browser (meaning NOT a dedicated server). We tried for 2-3 hours to pick them up on radar with zero luck. We tried putting tankers out and that worked, could pick those up. We then tried a MiG-23 and F-15's without any luck again. The F-15's were on the same team as us, so I told my brother to hit the IFF switch so he could see where they're supposed to be on the radar. We had everything dialed, antenna elevation (same flight level, also tried being a little lower than them), 2 bar scan, 1 bar scan, no luck. We were scanning the sky exactly where they should with the help of the IFF and could not find them. This is where the revelation occurred. I thought there may be an issue with the radar specifically when hosting a listen server (not sure if this is the right term for DCS, it's a hold over from my Source engine game days. By listen server, I mean a server that I'm hosting through the in game multiplayer browser). Back when the Apache was hot and fresh, there was a bug regarding engine power. If you played on a listen server, the Apache's engines would be MUCH weaker than they should be. I thought this may be affecting the radar on the F-4 and it seems I was correct. We booted into the 4YA training server and tried again. We instantly were able to find, lock, and fire upon targets with the radar with no issues. I'm very unsure as to why we could find the tankers but not fighters. It just simply did not work. We couldn't ever see the fighters on radar, even for a second. While trying to use the radar on my private server, we also noticed the FPS was suspiciously too good, like it almost wasn't even on. This may be entirely unrelated to the issue at hand since we were playing in a scenario with only 2-6 aircraft at max. If it matters, we started the mission airborne. We did not do any sort of cold start on the aircraft.

I have been expieriencing this problem for some time now, where whenever I join a multiplayer server I am unable to join. My game crashes no matter how big or small the server is. Could someone please help me troubleshooting this issue? dcs.log-20240529-120039.zip

After the updated today my DCS has started freezing on the MP server list. After narrowing down the problem, I disabled all mods, and did a full integrity check that came back clean. Really annoying bug as it is game breaking. no MP for me until it I can find a fix. I also found this old forum post which never showed an fix, either from players or patches. My issue is exactly the same just after this update, and this post is to hopefully bring this issue back up, and leave a new forum post for anyone who might find this bug in the future with a fix. Attached below is my . log file. Edit. Full Install, and Saved games clearing have not fixed the problem. Stable version worked flawlessly with all mods and other software I use for MFD's and UFC. dcs.log

MP Buddy Lase Desync/ Unable to follow moving targets

While in a multiplayer server, my buddy will be in an F18 and I am in a A10 Tank Killer both use Lightening t-pods. While hunting a group of moving targets, my buddy will lase them while they are moving and I use Laser Spot Search in the A10. While he tracks the group on his client, my laser spot tracking tracks the spot where he first lased and only that spot. My laser guided weapons will also proceed to go to that spot, while the F18 will see the weapon slightly miss the group he is following with his t-pod.
