Putting in the work and applying new tech to perfect an aging, unfinished DCS asset, all at a fair price? Outstanding! This is the way. I hope this works out for ED and Ugra. Then maybe we can see this same method applied to other aging assets (NTTR, PG, some of the older planes that need some love).

I sorted it out. I mixed up altitude and AGL in my attack maneuver and was too far out of the parameters to be allowed to fire. No bug.

Every time I fly mission 4, I arm my rockets when the instructor tells me to according the the procedure in the briefing. At some point en route to the target from the waypoint, the rockets disarm and I cannot rearm them. This makes it impossible to complete the mission. This does not occur outside of the mission, I tested this on an empty map. Any thoughts?

Thanks everyone. I was definitely having the problem of early lift due to ground effect, then a left roll and wing collision with the ground. Grafspee's video helped a lot. Centering the stick sooner than normal helped me gain speed more quickly once I could tame the tailwheel with rudder inputs. On the Channel map, I was able to successfully take off from Merville Calonne and Abbeville. Dunkirk and Saint Omer were too short for taking off that heavy.

I am having trouble taking off with a 500kg bomb loaded on the Anton. She takes off fine clean. I even tried reducing the fuel to 30%, but not dice. She lifts off briefly when she is just about to run out of runway around 200kpm, then loses lift and collides with the ground. I have been following Chuck's takeoff procedure to the letter. Any thoughts?

I just applied 767A to my brand new TWCS and the difference is night and day. The link provided by BJM above did the trick. When I muster the energy, I'll put some in the T16000m stick as well. A bit of warning, the stuff is difficult to squeeze out of the tube. Be patient. I squeezed too hard and blew a hole in the bottom of the tube and the goop ended up on my hands. It took a ton of scrubbing to get that tacky, sticky crud off my skin. On the other hand, feeling how the grease worked on my skin helped me understand how the stuff works when applied to the right surfaces.

Hi there, I recently upgraded my 12 year old Logitech Extreme 3d Pro to a proper mid-range HOTAS, the T16000m. When setting up the controls for the Anton, I noticed that the Bomb Release (B2) control was highlighted in red. No buttons assigned to it do anything. I already tried deleting the input files for the Anton in my user folder. Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks in advance

That's what I figured. It was still cool to sit in the cockpit and see the ailerons move when I moved the stick. It's definitely worth checking out if you find yourself in the Northeast US.

They were surprisingly light. I imagine they would get heavier with forces working against them.

PSA, you can sit in the cockpit of a P-47 and move it's working control surfaces at the New England Air Museum in Connecticut.

What times of day and week is this server most active? I have dropped in a few times all alone, which made for some fun ground pounding, but would like to fly with others. I am in the US, so I suspect the server is empty often because of the time of day I usually drop in (Friday evenings and weekends CST).
