  1. Hi miles, I will start the list seeking those interested, although Methinks that will be about 102 lol. First, let me thank you on behalf of the community for all the hard work you have and still are putting into your project and also to wish you and your family a very happy new year. I would also like to put myself on the list for consideration and more than willing ready and able to pay $ up front for the privilege. I do not expect you to layout from your own pocket + I am in the UK. If you allow me to test and give feedback you can put that on the postage package product tester sample. Which therefore removes import duty. (totally legal and a bonus for me) I am 59 yrs old been playing all types of games but mainly flight sims for, well before many on here can remember. ( right back through janes, TAW etc) That includes using many types of controllers and gamepads. I have owned a Vive but exchanged that for the Rift, I have upgraded to the Samsun Odessey (still have the rift) and also a Trackhat I am waiting in anticipation for delivery of a Pimax 5K+ which is ordered and paid for and should be delivered in the next 2 months. (fingers crossed) I have time on my hands as I am retired. I have all the DCS modules, terrains and campaigns (nothing on ED's site I do not own) which means I have a variety to test and collaborate on. Helps if another tester finds a problem I can try to mirror the problem. My set up Windows 10 Pro 64, Asus Tuf Z370 Pro MB, Intel i7 8086 LTD edition 5.0GHz, 32GIG Patriot 3000MHz mem. Gigabyte RTX 2080Ti gaming OC, 1TB NVMe 970 EVO, 1TB V-NAND 860 EVO SSD. Intel NVMe Optane 250GB (Win 10 0nly + drivers on that) + Samsung 840 250GB SSD and WD 2TB 6GHz HDD also 1650W PSU-creative sound card TM Warthog-TM Rudder Pedals-TM Cougar+TM 300 wheel+Pedals+shifter all top of the line. I think I could test more than just DCS and flight sims. perhaps Project cars, ATS, ETS, F1 range and maybe a few FPS and RPGs Arma 2/3 etc. Anyway relax for now and I wish you a happy new year to you and your family. Members interested in Initial roll-out (Please only if you have the time, energy and dedication to test) Oh just in case I will keep the list in Alphabetical Order. Sooo no preference intended it's up to Miles :-) Initial roll-out list. FireCat FZG_Immel heloguy javelina1 pgh2atl

  3. Hi Chic, actually have added to the list at home as new names appear. I was going to post a new list every 2 weeks or so rather than every time a few new names appear. If you want to take it over that's fine but I would suggest you keep it in an alphabetical order so you don't risk duplication (it's easier to keep track who is already on it) you then have to realign the number sequence to suit and make sure you don't miss a number out like 87 :-) A 01/ aaron886 02/ AdrianK 03/ AKA_Clutter 04/ A2597 B 05/ Bearfoot 06/ BlacleyCole 07/ Bob_Bushman C 08/ Cal.Iber 09/ Chic 10/ cmeliak 11/ cordite 12/ crazysundog D 13/ DayGlow 14/ dburne 15/ DeadEnd 16/ defygravity 17/ Drakeshoot E 18/ EntropySG F 19/ fargo007 20/ farmertom 21/ FireCat 22/ FoxDelta 23/ Fri13 24/ Fusedspine33 25/ FZG_Immel G 26/ gianlu320 27/ Gladman 28/ Goblin 29/ Gruman 30/ GVO H 31/ hakjar 32/ hansangb 33/ heloguy 34/ huzar I 35/ iffoif 36/ Icebeat 37/ Iku64 J 38/ Jabbers 39/ jnr4817 40/ joca133 41/ Joe_S 42/ jv44bubi K 43/ kaltokri 44/ Kirin L 45/ lolof1 46/ Los 47/ lucky-hendrix M 48/ malamar 49/ mariner3302 50/ mars 51/ MetalGear_Honk 52/ Metro 53/ mr_mojo97 N 54/ neok 55/ nobfunt O 56/ Oesau 57/ OzWookiee P 58/ Pac-Man 59/ =Panther= 60/ pgh2atl 61/ Phoenix F R 62/ ram0506 63/ Ratcatcher 64/ redtail 65/ RogueSqdn 66/ rowdgordypiper 67/ rrohde 68/ ruskybeaver 69/ Rymy 70/ R3ddishF0x S 71/ Salsam 72/ schurem 73/ SDsc0rch 74/ Shrike_AU 75/ skunk160 76/ Snacko 77/ Snapp 78/ Snow51th 79/ sparkchaser2010 80/ streakeagle 81/ Sydy T 82/ Thick8 83/ tibidisdik44 84/ tintifaxl 85/ tribundf 86/ TWC_Alamo V 87/ Velez 88/ VFRHawk 89/ VirusAM W 90/ westr here is a starter for you Chic hope this helps you if you want to do it.
  4. Hi Miles, you're welcome, I was also wondering how many and was also shocked (although we shouldn't really be) IMO the HMS is one of the best addon controllers to compliment the VR experience and not just flight sims. l look forward to putting an order in on your domain site when your son has it up and running. Keep up the great work, note, there are now 81 following and cheering you on and many more waiting in the wings. @Chic, thanks for the nomination this is something I can do although if it started running into the hundreds and possibly thousands (which I hope it does assuming it's also what Miles hopes for) it would make for a very long list :-) Maybe a weekly post with the running total on this forum. I.E as of now 83 forum members.
  5. Hi Miles, as you mentioned requesting quotes from suppliers regarding quantity cost I thought I'd start a list of interested members on this post to help with ordering. I am sure there are more out there who are just following and also on your YouTube channel. To all forum members. If I missed anyone I apologize in advance please feel free to add your name to the list it's alphabetical just copy/paste a new list same with anyone wishing to add to it or (don't know why anyone would) remove your name if you're not interested in purchasing. Hopefully, this list will go some way to assist Miles when ordering. 01/ aaron886 02/ AdrianK 03/ AKA_Clutter 04/ A2597 05/ Bearfoot 06/ BlacleyCole 07/ Bob_Bushman 08/ Cal.Iber 09/ Chic 10/ cmeliak 11/ cordite 12/ crazysundog 13/ DayGlow 14/ dburne 15/ DeadEnd 16/ Drakeshoot 17/ EntropySG 18/ fargo007 19/ farmertom 20/ FireCat 21/ FoxDelta 22/ Fri13 23/ Fusedspine33 24/ FZG_Immel 25/ Gladman 26/ Gruman 27/ GVO 28/ hakjar 29/ hansangb 30/ heloguy 31/ huzar 32/ Icebeat 33/ Iku64 34/ Jabbers 35/ jnr4817 36/ joca133 37/ Joe_S 38/ jv44bubi 39/ Kirin 40/ lolof1 41/ Los 42/ lucky-hendrix 43/ mariner3302 44/ MetalGear_Honk 45/ Metro 46/ mr_mojo97 47/ nobfunt 48/ Oesau 49/ OzWookiee 50/ Pac-Man 51/ =Panther= 52/ Phoenix F 53/ ram0506 54/ Ratcatcher 55/ redtail 56/ rowdgordypiper 57/ rrohde 58/ ruskybeaver 59/ Rymy 60/ R3ddishF0x 61/ schurem 62/ SDsc0rch 63/ Shrike_AU 64/ skunk160 65/ Snacko 66/ Snapp 67/ Snow51th 68/ sparkchaser2010 69/ streakeagle 70/ Sydy 71/ Thick8 72/ tibidisdik44 73/ tribundf 74/ VFRHawk 75/ VirusAM 76/ westr
  6. I'm with mariner3302 just say the word Miles.
  7. Just come across this and spent an hour or so reading through the posts just one thing to say. AWESOME. yes shouted out. Add me to your HMS manufacturing list as well and keep up the excellent work.
  8. Thanks for the confirmation.
  9. My mistake, not campaign "Coming with the DCS World Helicopters Pack is a special "four-in-one" mission" So this is available to the community well as long as they have the helicopters?
  10. What about those of us who already have the 4 modules? I have them all. In fact, I have everything. I took advantage in the summer 50% off everything sale and purchased everything I did not have. I now own every module, map, campaign and extra add-on a very expensive outlay but worth it. So do I qualify and anyone else who owns all 4 helo modules for this extra campaign?
  11. Well as most probably one of the most ineffective pilots in DCS I'll fly as a bad guy and will be shot down happily in keeping with your update. You, Cap, set autopilot for home plate and get well soon.
  12. Hi, you could go here "https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCZuXjkFY00p1ga3UyCBbR2w/featured" YouTube home page of the Grim Reapers. Click on the "video's" link button at the top of the page and scroll down they have hundreds of tutorials and also vid's explaining all different weapons from A-A, A-G, S-A, bombs missiles different aircraft etc. A world of knowledge for a first look at. Hope this helps.
  13. Really great news, I hope you also stream and upload to your site for later reference viewing and for those who can't make it.
  14. Don't know about you but I am playing a game the model clips into the world as it does in many games which when shown to devs they put right. No chance of anything suicidal happening in a game unless I take it to heart with a sharp instrument. Thanks for confirming the clipping.err yadayada grow up. You started a juvenile comment way back. And learn to spell. Now that's what I call juvenile.
  15. This has happened to me at a few airports and in the field picture Soganlug & Tiblisi I was just practising and testing mainly due to one incident in a town I don't know where I came in to land on an open patch on touch down the Huey started to rock violently and partially sink into the land as in the pics. It wasn't actually suicidal as I was sat in a chair with a VR Oculus headset on. Not much chance of death.
  16. Well here are just a couple of captures clearly showing the front end of the Huey + skids buried in the concrete as I taxi around. This has also happened in fields and various airports. Just because it has not happened to you does not mean it does not happen to others. I don't make things up. At 59 years of age, there is no point son.
  17. Try and taxi a UH-1H with the nose and rudder peddles buried in the concrete it's very disconcerting.
  18. I just did a search for sidewinder damage only one came up this.
  19. I wasn't looking for the post but seeing the title I remembered what I witnessed while watching a stream so added to the post. As others have it does not matter how many times a subject is posted in fact the more the better if there is a problem it has more chance of being looked at. So grow up and add to your post count constructively where your comments are wanted.
  20. What if it has been posted before? Has it been posted about 2.5? Anyway, what does it matter to you if someone posts again down the line? Try looking at a post you can contribute positively to. Or are you just interested in your post count?:smartass:
  21. I agree with you I have observed this watching some of the steams the aim-9s do seem to do less damage. So I wondered if this was a problem with the code or that Mig's are (in reality) made of more durable components and are therefore being truly represented.
  22. Hi fellow pilots. This is my first thread. In DCS 2.5 Nevada and Caucasus. I am interested if anyone else has problems with the through range (or lack of it) and sensitivity of the collective in the Huey and the Gazelle. (For Ref: I am using a TM Warthog Throttle and Stick with CH Pro Pedals.) No matter which controls I set as the collective (left or right throttle or the slider) I have tried every possible combination of settings (curvature/saturation/deadzone etc) set as a slider, as slider reversed. I am not new to key and axis setting/layouts I used foxy with my cougar for years. (I don't use Target in DCS) I use the slider on the warthog rather than the left or right throttles its easier to grip between my thumb and finger for better controlled micro movements (no curve, sat: or dead zones) The range travels about 49% before anything happens (a little Huey rotation) then at 50-51% the Huey hovers on its skids no higher rudder and Taxi (scrape along the floor) there are times the Huey has tilted forward and travels along with the front skids and nose sunk in the tarmac floor. Micro increase the collective between 52-54% to hover at 1-3ft over shute to 55% and wham 20-30ft in a split second. Keeping the Torquemeter Indicator out the red zone (50 on the torquemeter) needs the same micromanagement with the through range over 55% using a tiny percentage of movement. With a range from 0-50 on the torquemeter to the red, I am only using about 12% (if that) of my slider and throttles through range to cover this none of which happens until after 49% of the collective (throttle) movement. To be honest I sometimes think the collective may as well be a 3-way switch. 1/ No collective. 2/ Skid/hover Taxi. 3/ Elevate to 30ft in a split second and fly away. This can't be right. Once up I have no problem rattling along even executing twitchy bumpy landings but the first 49% does nothing of the available 100% through range and then the next 12% is micromanaging range between aching thumb and finger. For all intense a 3 way switch. I do not have this through range problem with anything other than helo's I downloaded TM calibration tools and checked both stick and throttle OK. So is this how the collective actually is on a helo? Personally, I can't believe it is. (Maybe for another thread.) What about the sinking into the Tarmac floor? Any input would be helpful even if its "I have to live with it, its a TM glitch with the Warthog" or is there a way to tweak some settings in the code. Maybe Belsimtek and Polychop need to look at this with a patch for the Warthog if it only effects that model. Any advice respected.
