I host our personal DCS Server on a dedicated one from Hetzner. https://www.hetzner.com/dedicated-rootserver/ex61-nvme We are just 6-7 pilots max but we never had any lags and the performance on dynamic maps is beside generating them very decent. CPU idles around 10-15%. Ive set the rendering to off and the view port is just 1024x786.

That would really be a great addition. I also could live with an option to set in the preferences like for the GPS alignment to set wether I want them always exported or not.

Hey :) Pretty close after the release of the Harrier I switched to the standalone version without the possibility to transfer my Harrier so I had to bought him twice. Now with the possibility of linking the Steam profile and getting all planes into my profile I have 2 Harriers and I am asking myself if its possible to move the Harrier to my friends account. Had anyone else the situation and has experience if its possible to move the standalone while I can use my Steam bought one? Thanks!

My biggest concern is that we don't get a public version of the dedicated server for small groups or squadrons and only "Elite" people get access to it. Has there been any clarification yet if the dedicated server will be hostable by everyone in future after beta phase?

The Newsletter sounds very promising and only if half of it is one in 2019 it would be awesome. For myself the most required feature is a good dedicated server software (perhaps for linux :) ) and a working in-game audio communication. sRs is not bad but to many people have problems with it and also I believe the integration with encrypted comm settings makes the flight models even more realistic. But if I could choose my top priority I would go for a stable server software and a better voice communication.

FlightControl seems to be happy if that is true :D I remember how disappointed he was when he said in his Moose video tutorials that this was a known issue since >2 years :D

Hey Guys :) I've started with BFT and have a little problem. In the first mission where i do my start-up i am asked to contact tower for taxi as soon as i am ready. Unfortunately after request taxi (uhf 260 @ Batumi) i get clearance but i have to wait another 8 minutes so the 15 minutes limit is hit and the instructor makes the checks so we can roll. The instructor asks me if i missed anything or if i forgot to read the manual and so on while waiting to hit the time limit. I am using a clean installation of latest 2.5 open beta. The module is freshly installed, no mods running. I've got beside that my Q for BFT1, so i am not stucked for now :) Thanks in advance :)
