  1. May I share these here? Taken by me at Fairford in 2013 I think. God that seems so long ago now...
  2. I'd like to see: Rockets that actually have blast and fragmentation implemented properly Updated standard buildings (the houses, barracks, bunkers, factories etc haven't changed since BS1 and it shows) plus making them destructable That's it actually. But it won't generate money so happy for whatever other modules ED decide are commercially viable. And it looks like the dust modelling is massively improved so my Shark doesn't generate a HUGE cloud, regardless of terrain, any more. I appreciate that a lot. You can imagine the political sensibilities around that, right? It would be brilliant but I'm fairly sure that there's been a hard "No" on Crimea before.
  3. Thanks. I think that's what I do now, but I'll revisit and check.
  4. Hi, simple question really. We can look at assets in the encyclopedia, which is useful. Is there a way of browsing the maps, though? At least being able to see the extent, but ideally being able to do a flyover. At the moment I have to create a dummy mission from scratch, faff about with coalitions and then go from there, which is a pain. Cheers
  5. (Blush) Not doing something daft. But also not doing something really frickin' obvious... Thanks
  6. This looks awesome. But I think I must be stupid - can't work out how to download from Gitlab... Am I doing something daft?
  7. Checked - they work fine in Photoshop. Sorry it took nearly 2 years to spot this post...
  8. OK, try these (not had a chance to validate them yet but will try later and replace them if necessary) SA342_Camou_ADT_4.psd SA342_Camou_ADT_9.psd SA342_Camou_ADT_Addons.psd And the last one (because of filesize limit) SA342_Camou_ADT_Addons_3.psd
  9. Thanks chaps - whatever happened I ran the updater again this morning and it went through fine. Everything works.
  10. Thanks. But why would this happen now after God knows how many years of DCS and AVG living together (since DCS was a thing anyway). I appreciate the "It's not a virus" comment but you'll understand that I need someone from ED to tell me that (and be prepared to stand behind it)
  11. I've added DCSUpdater to my exceptions, and have never had a problem until... Now of course DCS Harrier doesn't work. Which is annoying because tonight I have time to actually get into it. Suggestions welcome.
  12. We will take over eventually And by the way I absolutely agree with the rest of your argument in that post.
  13. While not germane to the argument my inner pedant can't leave this. Not strictly true. The Mi-24 has the powertrain arrangement that it does because it's based on the Mi-8 which had the same arrangement. The reason for this was simple - The Mi-8 was a natural development of the Mi-2 which had the same engine/gearbox arrangement because in the early 60's that was the way to go. Actually for a utility chopper it still is... Before that you had the Chicktaw/Wessex arrangement with engine(s) below and ahead of the cockpit and a complicated and heavy shaft arrangement to drive the gearbox above the cockpit.
  14. That's my approach as well. Seems to give the best of both worlds. (Plus being firewalled and AV'd up to the gills of course)
  15. The actual car? Or the model?
