  1. Yeah I agree. I know that was something they were working on. The NAVFLIR had the same detail, if not more, as the NVG before. I ran this mission a while ago and it didn't look like this. Terrain and trees were visible...now its just buildings and objects that show up on FLIR. And here's a shot with the black hot on the HUD...something is wrong. The FLIR on the MPCDs don't look as bad as the HUD, but they still are weaker than before.
  2. Hey Guys, just tried doing a night mission in the harrier and noticed the NAVFLIR is...not FLIRing properly. Anyone else seeing this? sorry for the picture size, but I think you'll see what I mean. The terrain and ground are barely visible. I uploaded a pic with the NV on to show a comparison...the NAVFLIR used to be much better than this.
  3. Zeus, question about the AGM-65 Mavs... is there a force correlate mode for them in the harrier? I don't know if the harrier irl has this capability. But if it does, it would be a great tool to have for this bird. the mavs in general are a bit more tedious to use in the harrier compared to A-10C or falcon BMS. For example, ground stabilize in the harrier comes on automatically a second after slewing the tdc, which can throw the crosshairs off a large distance by the time it stabilizes - this mode should be enabled via a key press. And force correlate should be enabled for the mavs that are capable of this. don't get me wrong, I love this jet and the progress made with it so far. And I have no idea about the actual avionics or weapon capabilities of this jet irl, but these would be nice features to have with this jet.
  4. A way around this is to use the force correlate mode in the A-10C...can extend range of mavs to 14-17nm (depending on altitude). But I don't think the Harrier has this capability...need to ask a dev.
  5. Been struggling with this issue since the 2.5 update...BUMMER! But the 3 camera solution seems to have worked for me, the only problem is the mfd exporter I use (A-10 Virtual cockpit Server) essentially sets your gaming screen to 1 camera...so it wasn't my solution. UNTIL I modified the virtual cockpit server lua file in the MonitorSetup folder found in the main DCS install location to display on 3 screens and so far I have been able to export my MFDs to my fourth screen and run the game with 3 cameras to avoid the freezing. So if anyone was stuck in that pickle like me, that is an option. This freezing still occurs with the Update 4 in 1 camera.
