  1. I have my soom assigned to the slider, and Im really not sur if I like it at times. But to answer your question, the only way i've found to program the slider is to assign bands to it. I keep the bands pretty small too.
  2. Have you done this yet? http://forum.free-track.net/index.php?showtopic=1255 Once you apply the fix then its all in the FT settings to dial in a good profile. Can you show/tell me how your using the wii remote, I was thinking of getting one instead of using this webcam. Hows your fps rate on the wii remote?
  3. Has there ever been a discusion of adding a dynamic campaign to BS or any of it's future releases?
  4. Beta SST found here.... http://www.saitekforum.com/showthread.php?t=16232
  5. Ive dl the file twice now with no problems. Be sure to cut and paste your stock file into a different location just incase you need to go back to stock.
  6. Ok Ive gone ahead and taking a bunch of screenshots, here's what Ive gotten so far. First can I say how impressed I am that I have $10 worth of parts from Radio Shack and am doing everything that TrkIR does! Ok on with what Im running OS Vista 32 You MUST dl and install this file if you are going to use Freetrack in BS. All instructions are in the thread. http://forum.free-track.net/index.php?showtopic=1255 My first LED build is a 3 LED cap, in my case old golf visor. Let me also say that the 4 led cap is obsolete so this 3 LED cap is all you need for 6DoF. Following Tristans LED calculator found here, http://www.free-track.net/english/hardware/calcled/?PHPSESSID=cc614826815a1cf28a7c2cfe631fe8e3 I used one 9v battery holder, cut out of a old toy, a 9v battery. From the positive lead of the battery holder (the red wire) I soldered in a 200 ohm resistor (if not 9v will cook a 1.7v led) continued with a single strand of wire from a cat5 cable to the positive of the LED, out the negitive, and the same through the next two LEDs and back to the black negative lead of the battery holder. Simple stuff and lots of pics of others work at freetrack to copy. Mine 3 LED setup.... Ok now there is alot of info about web cams that you can use, mine is a simple Creative Live Cam. They say its not a good cam to use and its not, gets only 10fps, but for what its worth it works. (also lots of info on website about cameras to use so not getting into that here) Here are the screens of my settings as you go across the tabs at the top right of the running program. Hope this helps and anyone wanting to share settings Id appreciate it. Note the 3 white dots on the black screen are the LEDs on my head, also note where the threshold slider is, this needs adjusted acording to any other light sources in the room. This last photo is pretty important, notice the measurments in the boxes. Once you build your helmet you need to measure the distances for the different LEDs (in mm) and input this into your freetrack. This is important for the program to do all its little algorithims and magic in relationship to your model. Hope this helps. Anyone wanting to share there info please do so here.
  7. Anyone here using Freetrack v2.2? If so what kind of settings are working best, or not working so well in the sim. Im looking for a good profile but am new to freetrack so perhaps some vets are here and can pass some wisdom.
  8. I was wondering if anyone has been makeing any new multiplayer missions for BS? In the event anyone is sitting on some nice missions please feel free to use this thread to post links or information to trade and swap missions here.
  9. Is anyone else having difficulty with taking screenshots? by default the sc key is "print scr/sys Rq" when pressed the game breifly stutters, as if it had taken a screen shot. When I go to the screenshot folder its empty. So i tried mapping the sc key to other keys and the same thing happens. anyone have a clue?
