This is a long standing issue (in MP), that has been around even before SC was a thing and also applies to ALL AIRFIELDS ON ALL MAPS. If the mission starts at "day" NO AIRFIELD WILL EVER TURN ON THEIR LIGHTING and the carrier STAYS IN CASE I even during nighttime. If the mission starts at "night" ALL AIRFIELDS KEEP THEIR LIGHTS ON and the carrier STAYS IN CASE III even during daytime. Fix it.

Just my 2ct on the situation: The fix edits the default.lua control scheme, wich is an insanely useful thing to know how to do in general esp if you're not fond of Target. You could essentially make any switch a 2 or 3 way "Special For Joystick" switch by modding that. BUT! It might break some functionality for solenoid / spring loaded switches that are supposed to return to position but you just hold them in place with your HOTAS. (Witch is actually the case for the AP switch, it flips back if the AP turns off!) Thinking about it, that really explains a lot! I had some very funky behavior when leaving the AP on and going off course in game: It would trip the AP to turn off, but the TM switch held it in place so the game would treat it as if it got turned back on making me flip-flop around with the AP stuck in an on-off loop.

It's not like the only thing they have to do is copy-paste the mod and test it a bit if it doesn't create any other bugs (taking a competent dev just about less than 30 min)...

It's been six months and still no Autopilot PITCH ALT/OFF and Autopilot PITCH ATT/OFF as special joystick button. Sigh...

Would be nice if they could have mentioned things like this in the changelog...

After the update I have the same problem @moggel described. I even tried the manual Lua install but it didn't change anything. Reverting to the version before the update worked though, but now comms are down completely. In the menus it just says ---- instead of VHF AM / UHF and nobody's responding to my calls even when they're issued via the menu.
