And yes from what i saw the RTX 3080 drag too much power for me (even if i undervolt i dont want the 3080 for that reason) Did you watch the video RX 6800 vs rtx3070? I wonder that the rtx 3070 hast almost 10-15 fps more most of the time? Thats why i am so unsure if i should get the RTX3070 TI oder RX 6800XT. For both cards i will wait a bit longer for price drops

Hey I changed my mind and want probably sooner or later also play at 1440p if FPS would be good high enough. So for 1440p i found that video. It show the difference between a RX6800 and RTX 3070. Do you think it would be better with a real G-sync Monitor and a Nvidia card? (I ask because i read" real g-sync" does not give freesync but a "g-sync compatible" give freesiny option for AMD cards. also @LucShep What you think about RTX3060ti/3070 vs RX 6800 @1440p? I know you answere me in other Topic already but this was more for 1080p. So sry if i am asking again. IF I could get RX6800 XT this should be the CLEAR winner right? This indeed can be a workaround for some people. But i need to reach it witthout problems and a lot zomming in and out with flying manouvers or whatever. Thats also why on my x52pro the modifier+slider is not an option for me. I have test it, and it dont feel good to me in action.

Would like to know from you guys if any had some problems with the slider axis to become shaking atfer a while of using!? Best would be guys who have this Throttle already longer than 1 year and using it often with the slider as zooom. With Saitek/Logitech X52pro you have quick problems with the axis. Also ich versuche es mal kurz zu machen. Zum Thema RAM 2xDimm oder 4xDimm Konfiguration würde ich empfehlen sich mal das Video anzuschauen. Und zum Thema Single vs Dual Rank Module poste ich hier mal ein Kommentar zu dem Video bei Youtube. Dominik Gastreich schreibt hierzu: "Leider etwas irreführend, dass der Unterschied zwischen Dual- und Single-Rank zwar am Anfang erklärt wird, danach im Vergleich aber doch wieder zwischen 2 und 4 Riegeln unterschieden wird. Die Anzahl ist nämlich vollkommen irrelevant, wenn man bei einem Setup mit Dual Channel und Dual Rank landet. Ob man 2x16 oder 4x8 GB hat, macht keinen Unterschied, weil die 16GB Riegel normal immer Dual Rank sind. 8GB und drunter dagegen sind eigentlich immer Single, da wäre es also ein Unterschied. Da es aber gar keinen schnellen und aktuellen 4GB-Riegel Speicher gibt, ist das hinfällig. Kurzum: mit 32GB landet man im Regelfall bei Dual Rank und hat damit das perfekte Setup, egal wie viele Sticks. Die Anzahl macht nur beim Übertakten einen Unterschied, weil 2x16 sich minimal besser übertakten lassen als 4x8. Dafür gibt es die 2x16 Sets auch meistens nur mit etwas schwächeren Specs als 4x8, wodurch sich auch das wieder aufhebt. Ich glaube, das hättet ihr besser hinbekommen können, aber dennoch danke, dass ihr überhaupt darüber informiert." Fazit: Bei 2x versuchen Dual Rank Kit zu kaufen ansonsten egal. @onlinetk Zur Frage der CPU. Getestet wurde mit einem i7 6700k (Stock) RAM OC macht natürlich auch am meßten Sinn mit einer schnellen CPU (am besten sogar CPU OC damit alles noch schneller verarbeitet werden kann) Wenn du allerdings bessere Erfahrungen mit RAM OC und der 11000er Serie von Intel gemacht hast freut mich das für dich. Dazu kann ich leider nichts sagen und mich hier nur auf Youtube-Berichte und Benchmarks beziehen. Wenn man "ram oc intel" sucht findet man z.B. folgendes für den 11700k Hier sieht man kein Unterschied. Solle jetzt aber nur mal den Kentnisstand dartellen den ich habe. @wosta Zum Thema mischen RAM-Kits... Ja kann man machen, aber ist nicht optimal wie schon geschrieben wurde. Ich habe z.b. auch gemischt 2x8gb 3600mhz Gskrill und 2x16 3600mhz Curcial. TImings müsste ich jetzt schauen. Auch der Chip ist hier unterschiedlich. (was auch nicht so toll ist zwecks OC) Fazit hierbei ist, ich bekomme die maximal auf 2700mhz mit allen 4 modulen. Bei 2x16 bekomme ich sie auf 3000mhz, was aber wohl daran liegen könnte, dass die RAM Kits nicht auf der Kompatibilitätsliste für mein Mainboard stehen (MSI Z170A Tomahawk AC). Hier habe ich beim Kauf nicht aufgepasst bzw. wusste es noch gar nicht. Darauf soltest du also auch achten wenn du RAM aufrüstest und übertakten möchtest. Da du nur 2x8gb 2133mhz hast würde es vermutlich so sein, dass du die auch nicht höher Takten kannst, selbst wenn du noch 2x16 3200mhz dazupackst wäre das dann wohl auch die maximale Taktrate. Wenn du also auf 2 neue Kits wechseln möchtest und die alten weglässt, versuche wie geschrieben Dual Rank kits zu kaufen und achte auf den Chip der verbaut ist. Hier müsste mich evtl. nochmal jemand korrigieren, aber ich meine die guten chips sind von Samsung b-die oder so ähnlich!? (also wenn du OC betreiben möchtest). Achja und zur Auslagerungsdatei: Auf jeden Fall eine anlegen! (natürlich mindestens auf einer SATA SSD). Bis 40gb RAM macht das ein spürbaren Unterschied. (weniger Ruckler/Stuttern) So jetzt so etwas lang geworden, aber hoffe kannte damit noch etwas sinvolles hierzu beitragen. mfg

Also zum ersten denke ich auch dass ein CPU upgrade bei dir nicht wirklich was brigen würde. Auf jeden Fall dein RAM aufrüsten und dadurch Stuttern entgegenwirken. (mindestens 32gb, besser aber mehr). Gerade bei Syrien gehts drüber und wenn du noch etwas im Hintergrund am laufen hast, wären 64gb zu empfehlen. Habe selbst 40gb verbaut und bin bei Syrien belegt er immer wieder ~35gb. Für DCS kannst du dir RAM Übertaktung auf jeden Fall sparen (zumindest bei Intel). Ich habe das selbst mal gestest. Zwar nur im vergleich von 2700mhz und 3000mhz, aber konnte da kein Unterschied feststellen. Ansonsten kannst du dir das Video anschauen, da siehst du auch dass das eigentlich nichts bringt. (1600/2400/3200) Zugegeben schon etwas älter, aber wie gesagt bei meinen Test´s (DCS 2.7) war da auch kein Unterschied. Lieber mehr RAM und etwas Geld sparen wenn man möchte. (3200 kit reicht locker) Zu der CPU-Auslastung bin ich selbst überfragt. Ich kann später mal DCS anschmeißen und schauen was ich für eine Auslastung habe. Ich besitze ein 6700k (4 Kerne +4 Threads). Deiner ist laut Benchmarks etwas schneller, auch im Singlecore. Ob die hohe Auslastung am i5 liegt weiß ich nicht, aber du hast zumindest 2 echte Kerne mehr.. aber wie gesagt da bin ich auch überfragt. Ich bin mir aber sicher, dass ich nie eine Auslastung von 100% habe. Wenn ich allerdings Hyperthreading deaktiviere steigt die Auslastung bei meiner CPU aber auch deutlich an! Schon lange her wo ich das mal getestet habe, aber ich meine das waren dann so bis zu 70 oder 80% in etwa. Es ist auch normal, dass man bei Helis niedrigere Frames hat. Liegt an der nähe zum Boden in DCS. Die Einbrüche/Stuttern liegt aber wieder am RAM! Also wie bereits geschrieben wurde.. RAM aufrüsten (gegen die Einbrüche), und für mehr FPS brauchst du eine bessere GPU. Kannst ja mal deine Grafik-Settings posten, vllt. kann man da auch noch etwas rausholen wenn es sein muss.

Some good Points @LucShep and thx for the Data! For the RTX 3060ti and 3070 on Benchmarks with 1080p the 3070 gives between 10-20 FPS more. That can make quite a difference. So i am not sure, but good advise specialy cause Prices. Btw i forgot to mention i use and 6700k, but maybe i can get in 1-2 years a little upgrade to 9700k/9900k before upgrade to newer CPU with new Mainboard. RTX 3070 costs atm arround 800€ For ~900€ i could get a new PC with 11400F and a RX 6600. Would that be maybe smarter? The 6600 for sure is not so strong but with the CPU and for just 100€ more i am not sure about what would be better. What you think is better? I know more VRAM is not always better, but i am not sure if 8gb will realy perform good if i cant upgrade in 4-5 years again? Other Games i play (Squad, Post Scriptum, Hell Let Loose). Now i have a GTX 1060 and i dont like that i did not invest in a GTX 1070 back in 2016 wich would have 8gb and is nowdays still good. But what in few years? So many cards now have more Vram and i have feeling games will use it soon and this may brings lttile problems with only 8gb vram. Even if its fast Vram, if you run out of video memory it can cause framedrops. Now its like 6gb Vram is minimum but 8gb is better. Later maybe 8gb minimum but 10-12 better. I still play in 1080p and for DCS no VR by the way. greets

I know that Viper dont have auto IFF. You ever was on growling sidewinder server? 10 people on same point. not easy to have a picture there in head from friendly and bandits So would be nice to know if this is the way how it should be from a official statement. thx

Big Problem with the IFF can be that the "green feedback mark for friendlys" ist not on the Contact. Oftens its off the contact and with more contacts near the contact show on the radar it can be hard to tell who is the friendly... Is this something need to fix or is it how it should be?
