Something I've noted so far is the behavior of the control helper. Now I use it as I have issues counteracting the tendency for the whole helicopter to roll to the left and onto it's side when I increase collective. What I did notice is that when you hit the trim, it puts the trim into the lower left quadrant of the red position menu. That at least helps with the takeoff, but no matter what it doesn't want to recognize when I push the nose down and attempt to gain forward momentum. Now I can get around that by using the normal trim commands, but it's impeding flight preformance in a way not normally seen in the Mi-8, where I've run into the same quirk of flight. Not so much to make it unflyable, but it makes the Mi-24 seem sluggish and unresponsive. At the same time high speed forward flight is difficult as you can't really keep the nose down to an extent to get to top speed.
