Thanks for the heads up ref the INU. I figured it had to be something like that as it only seems to happen when starting from cold & dark. Another thing I've noticed about the hover is that it is affected by buildings especially when they are directly underneath you. I think the manual only scratches the surface. BC

Shepski I think you are right, I may be flying with a US pilot (in a Russian aircraft lol). I will check next time because its happening a lot and like I said I've carefully checked the mission de-brief afterwards for red-on-red. This is probabby one of the best sims I've ever played and obviously a labour of love for those concerned. It will become a classic up there with IL2 etc. Thanks Bob

Is anyone else constantly being accused of fraticide (I think that was the word)? Notwithstanding I thought it was some kinky family thing, I'm sure that I've never killed a friendly. In fact, the last time it happened I religously checked the mission briefing for red or red but coudn't find anything. The only thing I can think of is that my wingman was shot down (not by me). Any ideas? Bobcat

Just keep practising :) I was having massive control problems with the K50 but gradually started to learn all the auto mode functions / idocynricies etc. It all suddenly came together and I'm flying with a lot more confidence now. This doesn't stop me doing stupid things though; I was "fiddling" with the nav screen last night and forgot to activate the alt hold mode. When I returned to normal forward view I was at 600m and still climbing lol. What a perfect target for the bad guys... Bobcat

I did exactly the same thing and ended up trying to guess the default position and then resaving the position. However, it still is not correct as the mouse pointer in the training videos as way off..... Bobcat
