  1. As a fellow disabled pilot I think DCS and all video games have given our demographic huge resources. If keeping your Puma is a requirement there is also two keyboards keys that control rudder, the longer you press the more rudder they add, may be possible to bind them to collective buttons. I don’t know if your collective is also something your not willing to replace, but if so lots of throttle have additional rudder axis, the hardest part is maybe finding one with two throttle that can control pitch and rpm. I would definitely try binding the keyboard commands for rudder to a hat on your cyclic and see if that works for you. If not I know you don’t want to replace your puma with something that has but you might have to if that would work best . Lots of people here willing to buy decent used equipment in good condition.

  2. Are you using FFB? With FFB it is worse, some say broken. The Su-27s FBW is designed to mimic a stable aircraft that pitches up when faster than cruise speed. With normal sticks I’m always able to trim enough but with FFB the stick is almost always trimmed all the way down unless I need the elevator authority, kind of annoying but I think it’s worth it for the joy of FFB.

  3. While I disagree with shooting a downed aviator, I think it would work to be included. Things go wrong and in DCS every possible failure even if unlikely is simulated. It could be a situation such as maybe a two on one guns and one accidentally shots his buddies parachute, friendly kill log book erased.

However I do think it’s right to be concerned about MP abuse.

I’ll stand by DCS decision either way, maybe in DCS 2030

  4. Happy with my Lenovo Y700 Ideapad, they had a sale last year when they came out with the new version. CPU i7-6700HQ is more than enough, but GTX 960m leaves some to be desired, probably need a 10 series for VR. I suggest getting something when a company is coming out with a new version, that way you get a sale, cooling is very important. My Lenovo would melt through the floor if I didn’t turn on the extreme cooling mode.

  5. I’ve always seen cables wrapped around magnets to reduce interference/magnetic waves. I believe it’s usually on power cables covered in hard plastic two inches long and finger width diameter.

  6. Ironhand where did you get the info on the tanks? I reread the Su-27 manual by ED after your post but didn’t see anything about the sequence of fuel tank depletion. The only indication are the individual fuel tanks lights on the fuel indicator, and I(like a lot of people on the English forums) can’t read cryllic. I looked up the Su-27SK manual but not only is it hard find, it seems to all be in cryllic.
