  1. You two should both try playing with us on the 107th server. Look it up in my signature below, and join our Discord. You'll find me there. I suspect you're better than you think, and if not, we'll all get there together. Multiplayer is fun, and it's a great learning environment. You'll get skilled quick. Come play. =)

    Thanks man, will do!

  2. don't be a quiter, never had a crash from this module, had training, mission editor, no problem, lower your graphics settings, maybe you're asking too mutch from your ram :) :book:

    I have the following modules:

    - BST F/A 18C

    - BST F-5E

    - BST MI-8

    - BEST HUEY

    - RAZBAM HARRIER

    - HEATBLUR VIGGEN

    - POLYCHOP GAZELLE

    - LEATHERNECK MIG-21BIS

    - ED A-10C

    - ED KA-50

    - ED YAK-52

All run on the same settings. No issues. Never ever. So I don't think I should lower my graphics. By the way, I have a killer machine so specifications shouldn't be a problem. But thanks for your input - and I am not gonna give up on it. Another guys reported the same crash to desktop here on the forums, so if it is happening to multiple people, I am sure RAZBAM are gonna look into it and come up with a fix. I like to modules, in general I like the Mirage, visually it's a very beautiful aircraft so I am not gonna surrender.

  3. Apart from the Viggen, I never had a CTD in DCS - although I am new to it. But with the latest patch, the Viggen is excellent. But the Mirage crashed on me at least fifteen times and I own it for only a few days/ So it's definitely not my installation of DCS. I will keep reporting if and when the M2000C crashes on me again.

  4. Awesome! I spent a lot of time trying to get AI wingmen and AI flights to engage ships in a meaningful manner a while back. My wishlist:

    * Fire all (i.e. both) RB-04/15 missiles carried instead of one per "attack run". This was likely the standard tactical procedure of the SwAF Viggens.

    * Utilize the full range envelope of the missiles.

    * Break-off and go to next waypoint after launch (if current waypoint is target waypoint?)

    * Possibility to set up RB-04/15 "fire at coordinate" in ME, e.g. we could theoretically set up missions where AI flights would perform something such as a "bearing only"-attack. E.g. "Enroute task - fire at coordinate" where the AI would launch at the designated coordinate once in range.

    +1 this!

  5. Well. After having this module for three days... I am not impressed.

    - Countless times crashing to desktop after exiting the session using the M2000 or when after a session going back to the Mission Editor and then trying to fly again

    - Crashing to desktop when dealing with the INS panel (also reported by another user, who believes it has to do with zooming onto the INS panel)

    - Bombs are misaligned on pylons

At this point I pretty much regret buying the module. Let's hope this will be quickly addressed.

  6. Doing the first training mission, I ended up crashing to desktop twice in a row, both times when doing things on the INS panel.

Also, often crashing when exiting the session after using the Mirage or trying to exit the ME or go flying from the ME.

EDIT: I guess the INS CTD is the exact same as the one reported by another user, perhaps it has to do with zooming in (?) to the INS panel.

  7. Hi Spathiphyllum, on what server do you play multiplayer? I've been playing DCS Viggen for a while, but don't think I have enough skill to do multiplayer. I'm not sure I will manage not to wreck others game :)

    Hey man!

Can actually play on any server - if you know a good one, I can join! Today I started to dig deeper into the navigation capabilities of the Viggen, did some night navigation tasks including a TILS landing which I didn't complete successfully.

I have now three days off in a row so let me know if you're ready for some co-op stuff, be it learning (which I definitely could do with being a complete Viggen noob - not so much aviation noob, been civilian flight simming for over 20 years) or basic missions.

  8. They will probably, but what I don't understand is why ED can't make his mind once and for all on bombs attachment.

Because we had already had this multiple times

I didn't know that this has already happened. I'm quite new to DCS, using it for only a couple months now. I hope it's gonna be fixed soon, looks very ugly how the bombs cut into the pylons.
