OK!! Thanx to komemiute on the Mudspike Forums...we found the issue I was having.... Apparently, if you accidently, or intentionally create a zip of a plane or put one there to unzip, and you leave the zipped file, or any file for that matter...it makes the ME go a little whacko. Once he told me what he thought, I looked thru and found a zipped folder (Coincidentally the one plane that seemed to have all the issues) and deleted it..not the ME is back up and running normal again!! Salute to komemiute and the Mudspike Forums!!

Update/clarification..the editor does NOT lock up, as I can TRY to select exit, the window pops up asking if I want to save or not, I click no, yes, maybe and it will do nothing. As I said, it does not lock up/freeze..but nothing you do/select will activate the function.

Okay..I have posted previously about the mission editor being FUBAR'd To start...I have DCS World Version 2.5.5.38140 NON Steam edition. I have never had this issue before, but after the recent update a week ago, this has surfaced. No matter what map I use, if I select an aircraft, I can name it, do all the things prior to placement on the map. When I try to place the A/C, it does not place and the Editor seems to lock up. The armament screen is blank as described previously in my other posting. The Viewer screen is also blank. I have no issues PLAYING the game. But anything mission editor oriented is screed up. Does anyone have this issue? If you don't know....try opening the mission editor, selecting a map, select the P-51D, and try to place it on the map on parking hot. Then open the armament screen and see if you can see weapons. Also....this is for the PC Stand alone Non Steam version. Thank! Elwood

Okay, thought it was me...posted previously about the AC Group box in the upper right hand corner disappeared and would not come back. Well on further examination this morning..it is not me. The Box returns then will disappear again. If I click on other AC, like the Spitty, it shows up and sporadically, it will reappear when I select a P-51. It will disappear eventually and may not come back when I repeat the process described earlier. Also, if I select the Units list tab, left side under the trigger list, the whole right side boxes disappear and the Unit list does NOT show up. It comes back when I exit the Unit List. Another issue is the arming screen does not show up and the AC skin view does not show up either OR it shows some other AC. And the arming screen still does not show up. This all happened after the recent update. Did the update break something? Is it just my PC? Anyone else having this issue? These are just what I have found so far See attached pics. Elwood

I need help in the Mission Editor, the Airplane Group in the upper left corner, I hit the X and it disappeared..I do not know how to get it back. See Attached Any help is appreciated. Elwood

Message The Mi-8 OilField campaign mission 2, something changed in the map. Before you could see the buildings and land, since one of the updates, the buildings are now in the trees, no way to complete mission. Flew this and completed previously, but not since recent updates. This has been an issue for over a year now with no fix. If I can fix it myself I would, just need to know how to get into the campaign editor. Elwood

Before you could see the buildings and land where you needed too, since one of the updates, the buildings are now in the trees, no way to complete mission. Flew this and completed previously, but not since recent updates. A developer might have to go in and check the objectives to make sure others have not changed. Thanx!

Is there a way to hide all the info that pops up (Interphone, player scores/victories etc) during a playback of a track. When making a movie, all I want is to see the vehicles/AC not all the info. Also, will DCS make an option for forward/rewind of a track rather than have to watch the whole thing a few times just to get the view you want? Thoughts/Advice
