  1. Sorry. I wrote a much more detailed post but I deleted it by mistake before posting. It was late and I was too drunk and just gave up. You were talking about $150-$200 range. @ $150 you have two options. both give you all flyable planes, spiral-bound copy of a complete aircraft manual for the plane of your choice. - The first one (DCS World tier 4 has two copies of DCSFW-190 D9 and two copies of DCS P-51. One for you one for a friend. You'll get to fly this in dcs world as soon as kickstarter is completed or in the case of the D9 when it's released. - second one doesn't give you the DCS planes. You'll still get them, but only when the DCS WW2 Europe is released, but you get historical manuals for two planes and tactics manual. @ $160 you get everything at first $150 pledge plus DCS WW2 Europe ALPHA access ( just for yourself) @ $170 you get everything at @ $160 plus an extra ALPHA access to give away. So you and your friend can play the alpha from the start. The $200 pledge is more confusing because it mentions "everything in the previous pledge" plus mention in the credits of the game plus custom T-shirt, but I don't know if the "previous level" means the new $170 pledge or the old $150 pledge (that one didn't have alpha access or keys for DCS planes from the start). I think he means the new $170 pledge when he says "previous level", but i'm not sure. Hope this helps.
  2. Since they pay for the alpha, I don't see why not.
  3. Ok. let me help you out. :) They added a few things to make things more interesting and more attractive for more people. I had the same pledge as you: $100+shipping. This gave me all the flyable planes plus a tactics manual that I don't really need ( I suck anyway) and the spiral manual. The thing is I already have the DCS pony and intended to get the DCS Dora at the first occasion instead of waiting for DCS WW2 Europe when I'll get them. I upped my pledge to the $110+shipping because this one has instead of the tactics manual a copy of DCS FW190 D9 from the moment it goes beta, long before DCS WW2 Europe is released. On top of that I also get the Alpha access to the game. The new pledges widened the options so you can chose manuals, alpha access for the game, the DCS P-51D and DCS FW-190D9 from release, or a much wider combination of this things, depending on what you like to have more.
  4. Great update. Thank you! Greetings to the team!!!.... .........kisses to Anya.
  5. Wow. I just noticed the specs in my sig. I need to update that one. I built myself two gaming boxes since then. I7 2600k+GTX590 and the last one I7 3770k+GTX780. I also burned a mobo and two CPUs since then.:poster_oops:
  6. Bombers are way too cool. It's so much fun getting together with more buddies and sneak up to the target. You can do a lot of damage in one sortie and usually after few targets go down in a cloud of smoke, dust and flames everyone is interested in you. :D Enemy fighters try to stop you, so you can't roll the map and a lot of friendly fighters will escort you to the target. I hade some really fun action packed sorties in bombers.:) Trying to bring a heavily damaged one back home is just as much fun. I'd fly the B-17 with pleasure.
  7. This image posted in the latest news by Ilya will clear things about the new options:
  8. Check the new update just posted by Ilya: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/508681281/dcs-wwii-europe-1944/posts This image should make things a lot more clear:
  9. A lot of new pledge options. I just checked kickstarter and I found a lot of new pledge options. This was a very good idea. Those of you that were on the fence because you didn't find an attractive pledge please have another look. You may find something interesting. I did. Originally I got the $100+$12 shipping option: ----"Everything at the $40 level, plus a hard copy of the game’s air combat strategy and tactics manual, and spiral-bound copies of complete aircraft manuals for two flyable aircraft in the game." And now I was able to change it to the $110+shipping option: You selected "Pledge $110 or more 1 backer ALPHA Tier 4. Everything at the $50 ORIGINAL level, plus a digital copy of DCS World FW-190D-9 with beta access (when available in early 2014), and a digital copy of DCS World P-51D Mustang (on successful kickstarter completion), plus ALPHA ACCESS. Estimated delivery: Feb 2014 Add $12 USD to ship outside the US " Now I'll get the DCS FW-190D9 when it DCS releases the beta, with this pledge. So I don't have to buy a copy from DCS and then get another one a year later, when DCS WW2 is released. On top of that I also get access to DCS WW2 Europe ALPHA. All for only ten extra bucks. So if you were on the fence, or know someone that was please check the pledge options again here: You may find something more attractive for you now.
  10. I like that people have a lot more options now. For me getting the Dora at release is quite a big plus. This way I don't have to buy it from DCS at release and then get another copy of it when DCS WW2 is released. Alpha doesn't scare me much. I got as bunch of games in Alpha stage and I had tons of fun.
  11. I think they added a bunch of new pledge options. I was able to find something more attractive for me. Originally I got the $100+shippinmg option: ----"Everything at the $40 level, plus a hard copy of the game’s air combat strategy and tactics manual, and spiral-bound copies of complete aircraft manuals for two flyable aircraft in the game." So I don't have to buy a copy from DCS and then get another one a year later, when DCS WW2 is released. On top of that I also get access to DCS WW@ Europe ALPHA. All for only ten extra bucks. :D I like it. I think a lot more people can find an option that they like now. Good job. Now it needs to be advertised more.
  12. Looks like they made some nice changes to the pledges. There are a lot more options now.....Or was it there from the start? I just changed my stock 100+shipping option to the 110+shiping option, as this one gives you the DCS Dora from the moment DCS releases the beta and also DCS WW2 Alpha access. With this one I don't have to buy the Dora from DCS at release and then get a second copy a year later. I'm good now. :) This one makes more sense for me. Go have a look around, you may find something that's more attractive to you and maybe help out raise more money in the process.
  13. The only problem is that you can get the Dora one year earlier directly from DCS and get what you pay for, not risk your money. I just can't understand the logic they used when they set this up. I'd really like Luthier to explain this, or even better. Fix it.
  14. Exactly. He torpedoed his own project.
  15. The game will be free to play. We most likely won't get to the first extended goal (375k). Most of us already have the pony for a long time and won't wait another year after release to get the D9. So what we are left with is exactly the content given away for free to those that don't suport the game. I for one don't care about tshirts and promotional crap. The only thing that has some value from all the kickstarter options is the beta acces. The problem are not those who don't suport the game now, but whoever made the kickstarter so worthless. They will give all the planes from the main goal away for free. Why pledge? Just so those who don't suport the game now, to laugh at you at release. You won't have a single plane more than those who badmouth this project right now.
  16. I think most people here already have the Pony. Many also won't be waiting for this game to be released to enjoy the Dora, if DCS releases it before. I know I won't. To me this twodon't really count. This are DCS planes anyway, not RRG. The rest of the stuf is just bs anyway. Except for the demo access I don't care about anything in that package. All i care about is game content. Not posters, tshirts and that kind of crap. I got the $112 pledge only to help them. Not because it's worth it. But after Luthier's post yesterday, it looks like they don't even want to help themselves, and come asking us for help. First, you need to have the shelf full before you can afford to give away free shit. It's pretty clear to me they won't have nothing to sell at release, after ayear of work. All they'll have is a forum full of free shit army bugging them. The decision to give away, for free, all three planes they'll make is retarded and will get push them under. I hope they change their mind if not I may change mine.
  17. So, what is my $112 getting me, in the game, that someone that paid nothing will not get? I already have the Pony since beta, I'll get the Dora at release too anyway. So those two don't coun't. Why not get the P47 and Bf109 pay for the 190a5 and Typhoon? So you tell me that they have money for free stuf. Why ask me for suport then? Why no sell some of that free stuf.
  18. Let me be more clear. As I see things now, we'll most likely get the 100k main goal, but nothing else. I doubt we get to 375k with the kickstarter, so we can get the a5 and typhoon. If so, they won't have anything to sell in order to generate revenue and developement money for aditional content. the Dora and Pony are DCS planes. All rrg studio can get from those, is a small percentage, if they sell them. That won't be enough to pay the bills and programers to make more planes. All they'll get is a bunch of happy free loaders (free new game with all new planes), and pissed supporters (paid for the game others got for free and have no hope for new content, because the game has nothing to generate income after the release). If they get the 100k needed for the basic game and give all new content for free to those that didn't support the game, they will be back at square one in a year from now. There's no bussines in their bussines plan.
  19. The problem is, as the things are promised now, they want to use us, who suported the game financially, pay for a full game for those that didn't. I'm not ok with that. One plane is ok. All the planes and content made by them, with our financial help, given for free to those that didn't support the game is not ok with me. My intention is to suport a game, not to be a sucker and pay for a full game for others. A new map and a plane, fine. All the new content, nope.
  20. I know what you mean, but I still feel like a sucker financing a full free game for everyone else, including those that want it dead. The idea behind kickstarter is to get start money for a bussines who's products we are interested in,, not to finance a charity. I for one, want the planes made from the kickstarter to produce revenue from those that don't want to risk suporting the game and later be used to make more planes.
  21. They shoot themselves in the foot. There's no incentive to participate in the kickstarter.
  22. I'd say one aircraft should be more than enough to give away, for free, to those that didn't support the game developement. Why give away all three new aircraft? It makes no sense. Even DCS gave away one old model only, the SU25.
  23. I'm puzzled by this too. Specially the post luthier made yesterday. Did I get this right? If they meet the 100k goal and not more, everything made by rrg studios (Spitfire, Bf-109, P-47 and the new map) are going to be given for free to everybody, including those ashats that posted negative comments on the kickstarter comments? What are they going to sell if they give everything for free? The whole ide behind kickstarter is to get enough money to get the ball rolling. Why not sell those m odels, to the people that didn't tke part in the kickstarter, to finance the developement of more models, like the fw190a5 and typhoon? Why do we suport the developement of the game with the kickstarter, if those that didn't are going to get everything for free?
  24. That's not the sound of impacting rounds. It is the high pitch supersonic crack present with all supersonic objects. Every rifle bullet creates that supersonic crack while is flying supersonic. That's what you hear in that video. This is the perfect example where you can hear all three components: First arives the supersonic crack, then the sound if the impacting rounds and finally that awesome grawl of the cannon. Here's some incoming automatic fire: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZwsiHNJee_c Same supersonic crack only at slower rate of fire.
  25. That's how it sounds in the game, except there's no supersonic crack of the bullets. In this clip the first sound is made by the shells flying by and the delayed lower volume "growl" is the actual sound of the gun.
