Because i fly ultra realistic, its cost me a fortune in ejection seat rocket packs and gun cartridges and don't get me started on my roof repair bills.
What other games simulate as accurate as DCS, I think it's more to do with customer base, the current number of "hardcore" milsim customers doesn't seem to be enough to sustain ED in the long-term unfortunately. Interestingly enough a guys did a study looking at just this a few days ago
You assume that based on what ?
Oh I bloody wish they would, along with a Buck and a Jag.
Remember flying in there when it became an airport many moons ago and there was still a very crashed and delipidated Mig 21 there.
True, the entire Nato and Warsaw Pact air and ground inventories from say 1955 to 1990 for a starters.
Just had a thought, What DCS really needs right now is a Swiss navy assets pack, should be reasonably easy to knock up in oh,about two weeks.
I'd like the Tonka and the A6E to be on the horizon, but I think I'm at least a year or two too early. Oh and of course the dynamic campaign, everyone wants that, right ?
Now thats so Star Citizen, backers have been paying for how many years now ? DCS certainly doesn't need gimmicks and promises we never see. Let's stick with a study level sim and concentrate on items worth buying like a real time campaign system, an A6E and a Tornado IDS.
