Where did all the WW2 people go?
NO.20.W.M_Thomson replied to flygav's topic in Western Europe 1944-1945
Ya, Fuzzy's been killing it on working on the server, Never seen someone so dedicated in creating so much as he does with this server. Creating missions that are for everyone, Be it objectives or just dog fighting. Wanting you to get home alive and caring about your pilot is the name of the game. The whole squad is dedicated to the server. We also have modern Mondays at around 8 pm eastern time, If your around join us for that to. Also there are some top notch pilots that come in and fly the server. So watch yours and your buddies 6 at all times. Salute. -

Try the NO.20 Squadron server, It has around 20 or more pilots most of the time, weekends is 40 or more pilots. -

Are you able to tell the difference between someone who has a power outage and someone deliberately disconnecting? I've been having a lot of power outages and it's been happening at the worst of times. -
What's wrong with the Jug, why so little interest ?

I just bought the 47 a few days ago and I have to say. I LOVE THIS BIRD. Only been in it a few times now but holy she's beautiful. 8 .50 cals are just a blast. Can't wait to get proficient in this old girl. I have a great teacher too in NO.20_Fuzzy_Man_Peach, That dude can fly the 47 like no ones business. Think we have our whole squad getting in that machine now, So cool. -
WW1 planes, a few assets, and a map
NO.20.W.M_Thomson replied to S. Low's topic in DCS Core Wish List
I thought there was a team building a ww1 sim in DCS, They called it flying circus as far as I know. Not sure what's happened to it, they had a hand full of aircraft. -

I doubt it has anything to do with your computer, probably the server machine or his internet, How many servers he has running at once. I haven't jumped on to his server yet but guys I fly with have said it's laggy. Not sure what he is using for a server machine.

Server question.
NO.20.W.M_Thomson replied to NO.20.W.M_Thomson's topic in Multiplayer Server Administration
Thanks for the reply, The gpu thing was part of the advertisement. I know I don't need a gpu other than the on board one. What I'm trying to figure out is if the 3.4 xeon cpu and mother board is worth the 400 bucks. Also found a Intel Xeon E3-1240 v2 @3.40 GHz, Quad Core with Hyperthreading for 200 bucks, 16 gigs of ram. But I don't know if its really better than what I already have. The one I have now is an amd athlon II X3 3.30 ghz 4 core. -
I have a simple server at the moment, just a 3.4 gighz quad core phenom2 16 gigs of ram. I know it can run a server but doubt anything complex. I am looking to upgrade and found this server for sale. It's a dual xeon 2.4 8 core processor. Now I don't know much about xeon other than it's used alot for servers. It's only 400 bucks Canadian. Would this thing be any better than what I have already. Thanks for any info. HP ProLiant DL360p Gen 8 - 48gb ram - 2x8 - 2x16 - 860evo ssd 1tb - has digitally registered copy of windows - 850evo sss 500gb - has digitally registered copy of windows - CPU’s are shown in the photo’s - Looks like it even has a gpu slot, but can’t be certain.

Thank you Mike. -
There's a few single player missions I'd like to do in multiplayer with some wingmen. Is there a way to change it to multiplayer for my server? One mission is Operation Jericho. Would adding player driven mossies work? I'm new to mission building so will take a while to build more complex missions. Thank you for any info on the matter.

I haven't flown the mossie yet but from watching some videos on it when turning on your gun sights it puts you to the center of the sights, not sure why your off to the side of it. -
Hi Folks, So I have a server for me and my bud's and anyone who want's to fly. I down loaded the operation jubilee to use as I'm still learning the editor. I added the mossie to it but every time I try flying the mission it would freeze up my computer. I'm trying it on my gaming computer first. All I did was add the mossie to an air field and set it to client saved it then hit fly. It would freeze everything to the point of having to reboot the machine. Any ideas what I'm missing or doing wrong and what I could do to fix it. Thanks for any help.

Open Source Joystick FFB / DIY FFB Joystick
NO.20.W.M_Thomson replied to Berniyh's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Thank you Metal, When it comes to electronics I can be a bit slow, I can work with them but knowing what goes with what is a problem. so I found this https://www.ebay.com/itm/50A-Dual-Channel-H-Bridge-Motor-Driver-Module-for-Arduino-Robot-Chassis-Servo/171442705595?_trkparms=aid%3D555018%26algo%3DPL.SIM%26ao%3D2%26asc%3D52935%26meid%3D29354450210c4969a0057f51dc10dbc0%26pid%3D100005%26rk%3D4%26rkt%3D12%26mehot%3Dpp%26sd%3D152850634270%26itm%3D171442705595&_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851 And I have a few MS FFB sticks I can use the motors from one just for testing. My plan is to build a few for some wingmen buddy's and see how that goes, Not many want to spend a thousand bucks or more for a stick. So am I getting close to what I need?
