This guide is awesome. Solved a few issues I had, and now this module is sooooo much fun. Incredible detail in the manual. A lot of work went into it, great job.

It works. Put it on Sim and also the update installed. Now I have a new addiction....the F18. I so much appreciate all the help and tips. Now to try to get server working....ha....not before i catch a few 3 wires.

I have been, but had issues in sim also...boarding my flight home now....cant wait to try.

I dont get back home till Wednesday. I was replying to the question asking if I retracted launch bar.

I also have an issue I have caused. When I deleted everything associated with F18...thinking I would be able to redownload...I screwed the pooch. Now i get the symbol on module icon, that appears to be indication of something to download...but it cant be clicked on. Maybe now I need to make an F18 folder somewhere. Ive got 9 more days on hitch till I go home. My computer will jave sat powered off for 16 days....maybe it will autodownload??? Maybe.

I want to fly with my dad, who is 75. I have limited computer skills. It seems fairly intuitive to create a server, on my computer, but my dad cant see it on server list. We also tried using the address. I went to his house to help, but he is right, its not there. Attempted the port forwarding, not 100% sure I did it correct. Is there a way to verify, my port forward. I know running an ethernet cable would be better than WiFi, but could WiFi be my issue with hosting. I would love a troubleshooting guide for dummies. Any advise would be appreciated...I really want to shoot his Mustang down with my Harrier.

Yes, I was hopeful just reinstalling might fix it. When I get home, I will try the fixes mentioned. I appreciate everyones input. Thank you much.

I have tried with binded control. but i think you are saying to try with mouse. Im not sure if i have tried that....but i will. Thank you.

Yes, i always have to clear double bindings. Rudder pedals, stick and throttle are always all trying to do same functions. I had same issue, on another computer, with different controls. New computer, new controls, same issue. Other aircraft work, but F18 off of carrier, gear and flaps dont move.

Id settle for being able to put landing gear up.

When taking off from carrier, I cant retract landing gear. My devices cant operate gear or flaps at all. I have them binded with Warthog Hotas, same bindings I use on other modules. Anyone else have, or have heard of similar issues. Im thinking of deleting all F18 files and letting it re install.
