Completely accurate modeling may not be possible yet, but making them less lethal I hope is. It would be a step towards more realism.

Anyone else finding that efficiency too unreal? 1. The total number of skeets launched from the BLU-108 submunitions the CBU-97 bombs carry is 160 (4 bombs each containing 10 submunitions, each submunition deploying 4 sensor-fused projectiles "skeets"). 2. In RL it will be nearly impossible for all 160 skeets to hit 160 targets, and here you have even more than 160 targets destroyed. In RL some submunitions miss, others hit the same target. 3. There is a high probability that a hit from a skeet will not effectively penetrate and destroy T-72B equipped with explosive reactive armor (Kontakt-5 or newer which also provide protection against kinetic penetrators) unless it hits a vulnerable spot.

I`m pretty sure it won`t be F-15, it will be either F-16 or F/A-18. I bet it will be F-16 though because it`s more widely exported. We`ll see about that soon, I guess in a few months. There`s no point keeping it secret up to its release, so stay tuned for revelations ;) Oh and BTW when they announce it I`ll remind you what a fine fortune-teller I am :P

Yeah pretty much, bigger bullet means a lot more energy, the thing is though if you`re firing at people 7.92 mm is more than enough especially with that fire rate :) I watched a documentary the other day on History channel or Discovery I don`t recall... there was that american WW2 veteran who made that colorful comparison. It was something like that: (D-Day, Omacha beach) "We had never heard german machine gun before, american MGs sounded like ta-ta-ta-ta-ta. German maching gun had this sound: trrrrrrr, trrrrrrrrrrrrrrr." :)

Hey dude no one forces you to study english, you don`t like it then don`t study it. There are a lot of languages I would never study like: chinese, arabic language, tai languages, hebrew, hindi, etc. etc. But do you see me starting threads ranting how those make me insane? Learn languages that you like, the most you like one the easiest it is to study.
