  1. Not another clone thread pleeease  If every new member starts a "next dcs aircraft" thread it will be catastrophic...
  2. The whole post was funny... I don`t know about everyone else but the bold part nearly killed me. I`m loling and rofling as I type that :megalol:
  3. And what kind of reply was that, a list of outdated aircraft shot down by F-15, I mean come on su-25?! Su-7? The others? And the "coincidence??" at the end? Even those 9 mig-29 had outdated avionics and armament, so again how are you disproving what Veljko said with that reply of yours. Do you see now why I said trolling? The whole discussion about F-15`s victories, score, comparability with mig-29 is OT. And it would have been ok if it was here and there but when it continues for pages it`s getting annoying. And don`t take that as a personal insult or something, I see you`re new to the forums and your opinion is welcome as long as there is rational sense in your comments. You`re welcome.
  4. ^^^ wow huge flame behind that Growler the "3/23/2011 - SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE" photo does not show up for some reason
  5. And what exactly are you trying to prove there? That F-15 is superior to the aircraft listed above? It is quite obvious. And no, it`s not a coincidence that a well trained pilot with a better equipped and armed aircraft will score a victory in a fight against an outdated fighter. Quite obvious too. These aircraft were not a serious challenge for the eagle, as posted before if you want a real challenge face it with Typhoon, Su-30/35, F-22, etc. modern aircraft. Now stop trolling in this previously dead, now necromantically resurrected by... yourself thread and don`t forget its topic "SU30 vs Super Hornet".
  6. So how is it still up, and haven`t been removed?
  7. Air Force Global Strike Command officials assumed responsibility for the Air Force's nuclear-capable bomber force, including the B-52 Stratofortress and B-2 Spirit shown here, Feb. 1, 2010. This action completes the step-by-step transfer of all Air Force long-range, nuclear-capable assets to the Air Force's newest major command. (U.S. Air Force photo) A B-2 Spirit is refueled by a KC-10 Extender over Australia during exercise Green Lightning on Tuesday, July 25. The KC-10 and B-2 are from the 36th Expeditionary Wing at Guam. The exercise will test U.S. capabilities and provide operational familiarity in the region for the Pacific bomber presence as well as serve to enhance relations with the Australians. 8. Those were B-2 from Whiteman Air Force Base. I guess they didn`t land in Europe and flew the whole distance refueling several times in the air.
  9. What an irony man :) But it might have survived, it`s not a combat aircraft after all. Do you know where it`s based?
  10. Not that awesome with the F-15C/E, F-16, and F/A-18E/F missing...
  11. ^^^ lol that dog had one hell of ride. I was expecting it to puke on those guys any minute
  12. ^^^ Those F-15, are they the USAF F-15E from the Aviano Air Base?
  13. so she`s also there
  14. UK? Which ship do they fire tomahawks from?
  15. I was sure they`ll start using cruise missiles eventually. Didn`t expect the fighters to deal with all targets.
  16. Based on the news it seems that the main participants in an eventual strike will be french, british and canadian forces. I`m quite sure though the USS Enterprise and its escort`s firepower will not be left unused.
  17. Uh without destroying the air defense first? That doesn`t sound very good
  18. Not unusual at all actually :)
  19. Any kind of military related info is welcome. Thanks for the update. Those explosions heard in Tripoli, any info what might be their source? Coalition bombing?
  20. a short explanation of the "no-fly-zone":
  21. AFAIK they don`t have modern fighters in service. I don`t think they pose a serious threat to coalition forces, mind also that we are talking about precision air strikes on key targets of Libyan defense, not about land operations. I`m not capable of assessing correctly and thoroughly the threat they pose to the coalition air forces but expect the main danger to come from manpads as most of the libyan air defense inventory seems obsolete. Also the possible extensive use of cruise missiles would mean low risk for coalition air forces in the first days of the operations.
  22. Post photos, footage, reports, news, etc. in this thread. Its purpose is to collect in one place info of military operations that are/will be conducted in Libya. As you may already know the United Nations Security Council voted on Thursday Mar 17, 2011 to impose a no-fly zone over Libya. This is the Military and Aviation section of the forums and this thread is about the military and aviation aspects of the conflict, so refrain from flaming and posting political comments! The following photos show USS Enterprise and ships from its escort. 23. It will be smaller that Chernobyl even if all reactors meltdown. The Chernobyl plant blew up while it was running, an eventual meltdown in Fukushima will cause much less damage.
  24. Let me explain it to you without irritation and with an example: I love meat, and when a vegetarian comes and starts explaining to me how: meat is dangerous for my health, how it`s unnatural to eat meat or how eating meat is the cause for the slaughter of millions of animals every year and therefore I as a guy that eats meat am partially responsible for that slaughter, how inhumane is this whole thing, etc. cr*p... What should I do? Should I become a vegetarian because I won`t be able to stand myself realizing what kind of a disgusting meat eating nature killing monster I actually am? Or should I start to convince him that I`m right and he`s crazy, or I should tell him to GTFO of my sight and stop waisting my time with BS?
