  1. Just cut the top off and make it removable.

  3. Even from its start they were very picky..Heard they do get quite upset over things in there.
  4. All I know is that panels are based on the Dzus fastener strips and they use a 3/8" between centers.
  5. Reducing speed helps,especially if the print has some mass to it.Softening the jerk and acceleration wont hurt either... I had a lot of dramas with my Kobra Max 2 with big heavy prints.

  11. LOL only thing worse than old cracked Alclad is old wax paper on Perspex or Lexcan..Ive seen guys bin totally good pieces of material because they couldnt remove the covering...If you have a big scanner you can digitize the lettering on the panels and convert to SVG to Laser engrave new ones.

  15. Design work and assemblies are pretty easy its the ability to import and export files a lot of programs have problems with.
  16. Think Deadmans got some video on his channel of doing Laser cutting panels.
  17. With the K40 many remove the bed and add an adjustable table to be able to get the focal length right.

  20. The bane of parts off two aircraft not having holes line up..Cant use a piece of Aluminium rod and countersink the bracket both sides and peen into place?Then sand smooth.I use soft A rivets to plug unwanted holes.
  21. People dont realize how painful rusty old fasteners can be..Especially if a cockpit is full of them.great work guys.One job at a time.

  24. Structurally looks pretty solid.Just need a good coat of paint and a good clean..
