  1. Fixed the glass..currently working on vc textures/making instruments functional etc.
  2. This would be better for comparison although has the welland powerplant and ones fitted to f3’s with derwent 1’s had slightly different internal profiles compared to ones fitted to prototype with welland.. http://www.britmodeller.com/walkarounds/aircraft/meteor/dg202/p06.JPG https://images.app.goo.gl/nKRNwzWSKhiZv9HQ8
  3. ‘Crossmember on inside of intake looks too wide’ Thing to remember is what you see covering the crossmember inside the necalle is just a fairing and is a different profile to the wing leading edge so may give the illusion that it is thicker depending on angle of scrn shot, the trailing edge of the fairing sits over the crossmember and terminates slightly aft of where panel line runs down leading edge of wing where they share same profile at that point..as can be seen in the image of the f8 necalle profile starts narrow but image is not clear enough to show full profile..good observation btw.
  4. Forgot to mention textures are still very much wip, noticed a few areas that need sorting like panel lines round gun ports etc..
  5. The meteor was wartime and went into service even before the me262. Any valid critique is welcome as any necessary changes can be made during integration however this example is not a good comparison for a few reasons mainly because it is a museum example and will more than likely have had many Coats of paint over the years which hides detail and this finish which it seems is imitating silver dope is quite non reflective. Angle of light for the photo makes a big difference and panel work can also vary from ac to ac, some photos show little to no detail while others show more with lots of panel deformation, would show some examples but currently out of the country. When get back will upload some shots of removed panels showing gun bays, fuel tanks and engine bays.
  6. As the title says, Hawker typhoon is now on back burner until this is finished. Once cockpit textures are finished will post some more progress shots, was hoping to have them finished in about 2 wks but something came up so will be about end july. Physical damage model is fairly complete but need to get ac folder and everything set up etc...still few obvious things to do like glass etc.
  7. In that case forget that one.
  8. Might make more sense to do the AI's first. What about making a v1 as an AI so missions can be created for any aircraft to intercept them? The FM of the v1 could be set so it can only fly straight etc & even have limited fuel so it crashes after so long?
  9. Wrong although should hopefully have some screen shots to show of the finished cockpit..

    Tempest Mk.V

Currently finishing another project and then will be back onto this one. Would certainly be open to doing the tempest later on time permitting. If ED want to use the 3d model they are more than welcome. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=221589
  12. looking forward to getting back onto this but am currently finishing another ww2 dcs project first which is not too far off, will hopefully be able to show something within next month. On the + side some of the cockpit items can be used for the typhoon....this one is a jet though.
  13. A little bit of experimenting in sp:
  14. Thanks.
  15. Start of cockpit.
  16.
  17. Thanks guys.
  18. Not a tempest but close: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=221589
  19. Hi all, have for some time had a keen interest in developing a hawker Typhoon for DCS ideally as a module but failing that as a mod with accurate virtual cockpit and fully modelled visual dm. External is nearly fully animated with wip pbr textures and will be making a start on the internal vc in the near future. All being well should be able to complete the cockpit and damage within 2019 fairly comfortably. VC will also have full pbr textures etc. Only real hitch so far has been getting the prop to work although someone already experienced with the process has kindly assisted with making it work but can't elaborate any more about that for time being :smilewink:.
