I don't think there is an actual sight mode selector (switch). I think what it means (in an odd way) is that the lines and or dots on the hud are the selector. As in if I hover the selector lines over the wing tips of an aircraft, I'm selecting it. My brain hurts now..

Where is this? I cant find it in controls or the cockpit section of manual.

Update, Engineers found that my unit has "hardware issues" , no word yet on a solution, whether it be repair or replacement. Probably won't know till Monday.

NASA said it was just ice particles being manipulated by the thrusters. I agree with that. Sometimes the video Is shown zoomed in. Whenever it's shown like that it's out of context because you can't see that there are actually other particles being affected at the same time. When it is showed zoomed in it sure is compelling because it looks like one object abruptly changing direction and then a projectile crosses its previous location! You definitely have to be careful when researching this subject.

Update, Sending the unit to HP via Next Day Air so they can diagnose and possibly fix the problem. I was given three options, refund, diagnose/repair or replacement. I preferred replacement but according to them they weren't sure when ( maybe one week) they would have a replacement unit to send me.

Occam's razor reminds me of Humes Quotes "No testimony is sufficient to establish a miracle, unless the testimony be of such a kind, that its falsehood would be more miraculous than the fact which it endeavors to establish." In my opinion given the size of the universe and how much we humans have been wrong about in the past it's easily possible. Yes, I think it's the easiest explanation and I also believe that it would be more miraculous for these F-18 Pilots to be mistaken.

What we are witnessing in this thread is precisely what has plagued this subject from the beginning. An attempt at serious discussion on a serious subject only for nonsense to be constantly introduced. It's sad because somebody new to the subject will see this and immediately be turned off. It's actually an incredibly effective method if your goal was to suppress information.

Or.. a gravity based propulsion that envelopes the craft, making it so that g forces are not felt. I would bet that a many of them are AI based drones though.
