I see the logic but I wonder if there is more at play. If you take a look at this review you will see 4200 c19 outperforming 3200 c14 in numerous tests. I don't think I saw one test where the 3200 c14 was on top. LOL

I don't think you went wrong with the speed but I do think you would be better off with a equally priced lower speed 32gb kit. That all depends on if you are in a scenario where you are maxing out the 16gb kit which can happen in DCS.

Copy that, I didn't realize there was a big DCS following on OCN. I think they are c18, when I built it I was wanting to squeeze the most performance out of the rig I could, I know it makes not much difference especially at high res, just an enthusiast thing.. If only someone would do a comprehensive performance review of DCS (like guru3d or G nexus) testing various cards, CPUs , and mem! That's probably too much to ask for.

Thanks guys but I'm specifically curious about the values with somebody that has 64GB of ram and 4k/or VR in the scenario stated in OP. I already had the 32gb values, wanted to compare the 2.

Hello I need the help of someone that runs a 4k monitor or VR AND has 64gb a ram. I'm debating upgrading to 32g/4133mhz (adding 16) or dropping the big bucks on a set of 64g/3733mhz ram. I prefer the faster cheaper ram option but need some info before I make the decision. OK,..I need someone to get me the values circled in red on the screenshot I uploaded. (To keep as close to my test conditions as possible), load in to the "through the inferno Persain Gulf" MP server and load into the F14B on the ground, while sitting in the cockpit grab the info or take a screenshot. I have not played in a few days, today I jump on, in the f14, and the Jester Menu is zoomed in so much so that I can only see the top half of the wheel. I am using a Samsung odyssey plus. Not sure if there was an update or if I messed something up, any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Updated with Viggen! So I think I found glitch with the Viggen. The clean sub 1kft is 830 and 866 at -12 and +15c however if you load up with 6-rj24s and shoot them off you go into turbo mode that gets you to 927 and 970kgs!

Calm down geez.. reacting like a woman would.. you can come up into channel and talk if you want. There are no tactics, its very simple we are having fun, the server starts acting up, you are not around, I provide a solution to the guys I'm flying with. Fishing? Its a loud annoying high pitched ringing tone. If they throw out the DD, they will have to redo the SW tutorial also I suppose.

Thanks, yeah that would be a interesting test. We did do a bunch of drag racing of the runway and level flight on deck till no fuel. The 14 smoked everything, iirc the mig29 was its closest match.

Updated OP Interestingly the M2000 and mig29 actually benefited from the increased temperature while the F18 suffered the most proportionally.

You and I both, we even did some drag racing off the runway and fly at deck till ran out of fuel and the F14B literally smoked...I mean blew the effin doors off the F15c ... I was very surprised and with a big smile I might add!
