Agreed. I've got some scripts doing the install/upgrade but they're not headless and require user interaction. I could hack.something together by monitoring log files but an officially supported headless mode would be great.

Is there a mapping somewhere in the docs between the GUI settings and the settings in the options.lua? Would help with setting up dedicated servers. For example I'm assuming "tacviewRecordClientsSessionsEnabled" is controlled by the check box "Create one file for each network client."

What would happen if you moved your virtual view? From the IRIS docs it seems like it grabs a section of the screen and streams it out so what would be streamed if you were looking around outside for example?
