  1. Welcome lads. Please. do no bother with EA release. Complete product launch will give you better sales. I will buy it just to support that cause, even if I am not that interested in the jet itself.

  2. But it still won’t be any more realistic then this or the previous implementation if it stabilizes in roll and guides on two axis like APKWS. Sure a unique implementation would be nice, but I’m not going to hold out hope that ED will make one.

I guess APKWS would be way better then the current SFM that doesn’t even need a laser, and I will be happy with that, but it’s like we are so close, it’s been one of the few things JF-17 hasn’t fully solved since release.

With APKWS it will buddy lase atleast and be able to fully mimick how you would fire it from the cockpit, it would be nice to see how the actual guidance of slow reacting less accurate one axis controlled spinning compares to the smaller warhead of APKWS but smoother and faster ability to change direction, with the same guidance type of SALH on both.

But if APKWS is what it ends up being, I guess that’s the best compromise

I do understand what you mean, however, I am not entirely convinced that any rotating munition within DCS actually simulates the rotation physics in real time. Even for Vikhr scheme, the rotation looks purely visual. This became obvious when DEKA tried to exaggerate it's performance to match with BRM behaviour and it just went insane.

As long as it behaves like the real thing, I am not too worried about what it looks like. And quite frankly, I do not see ED putting in the extra effort just for DEKA.

  3. Preach on brother. This thread will probably be deleted or locked soon.

Apparently Razbam need us to talk nice to them and not ask them for missing features or else they will stop talking here again.

I just want either RAZBAM or any other developer to complete this module and properly simulate its barebone implementations.

This is the only VTOL jet in this game so for me it holds a lot more value than F-15E, purely because of the versatility.

  4. Thank you for some clarity and presenting us with insight on what you are working on.

I will wait and see how much Harrier progresses until the approaching F-15E EA release. Any purchase on your future modules will depend on how you handle this plane towards completion.

I understand your reasons and I hope you understand my restraints. I look forward to flying this jet again once more work has been done on it.

  5. AV/8B+ -prob 3 years away

Mig-19S - not going to be soon its not a great plane tbh

Mirage 2000-5 - when ED sorts out ground radar yes but again a few years off

AMX - just needs coding and will be in the next 2 years

Bronco- not in the pipline, was a tease and will be years

Lightning - best plane - im doing the textures for this one, likely next year

    Canberra - is AI

F-100 - just a tease, its NOT coming for many years !

Mirage 3,Super Etendard s- still not sure when but at first they are ai !

Strike Eagle in modelling stage and will be the next module

Mig-23, with carlos and a year off

Bo-105, this is not our module we will look at coding it when its modelled

    Ia-58- AI

Sea Harrier, ai for Falklands then will be a module

A-29 for the Ecuadorian air force and yes its coming to DCS.

basically you are looking at these coming in stages before you all get your knickers in a twist !

F15sE, Tucano and mig 23 re the next planes coming from razbam.

Then and only after the above are finished it will be :EE Lightning, Sea Harrier and the BO-105.

The rest are way down the line.

I do appreciate you showing us your future plan of projects. Can you please discuss more about your future plans of current AV-8B?

What are you major plans towards this module's completion? Will we begin seeing extensive list of bug fixes on patch notes from now on until it is in a more stable state?

There will always be things breaking but try to work with the community a little more. Calling your customers toxic (Even if that is true) is not professional. Please speak here in a different tone than what you are used to with your mates within Razbam.

  6. Something is moving: https://www.facebook.com/RazbamSims/

How did they do all this so fast? Even added the missing bombs...

  7. With the announcement of the soon to be released APKWS for the A-10C II, I was wondering if Deka is finally going to revise the BRM to the proper scheme instead of being a beam rider?

They already got rid of beam rider. I am sure they will get around to using APKWS API for BRM. I am more curious to know how well it is developed and how much damage it will do to tanks since there was riot when BRM was introduced.

  8. Looking at the state of feature complete harrier now, I will easily skip out on F-15E. It does not look like RAZBAM will have the level of access to do most of its features. Since the jet is in active duty and all that. Plus spending another 3 years to reach this exact point does not sound very entertaining to me. It is sad how they also hold the license for Mig 23. I will laugh if they cost same as F-14 and Hornet.

I would like ED to clarify what is the difference between early access and release build? Preferably in a detailed paragraph instead of one sentence.

  9. I honestly didn't expect anything more from RAZBAM.

I am more concerned with what ED considers OK to be out of EA. This is good. I will not be so blindly tossing my money their way anymore since EA or Released product does not have any difinitive meaning in DCS.

With this new strategy, so many modules can now be pulled out of early access as long as the skeleton of the feature is impletmented to tick the store page checklist.

  10. The focus of expertise can vary. Some may know systems and details from a crew chief perspective, others my have flown the subject in question for quite a while... Gero Finke seems to be the kind of SME who can provide a lot of knowledge to the FM. :)

I certainly hope so. There is too much hype behind this jet and we could use someone with a strong backbone to stand by their calculations when ED come knocking at their door. We know this jet will be on top of pvp game and a certain part of community will be enraged.

  11. Like most of the jets modelled in DCS. This will be mostly based on guesswork. Even the ones like F16 and F18 are not that near to their real counterparts. If you follow real life fighter pilots who played DCS, you will understand.

That being said, this jet will still be the most realistic version we will see in a very long time on any game or simulator if ever.

Just because documents are available, it does not mean the DCS engine can represent them with 100% accuracy.

  12. It will just be banned on most pvp servers. Or the weapons at least.

Neither the jet nor the weapons will be banned in most PVP servers. Maybe two top ones will add carrying limitations but even they allow Phoenix missile when it is not bugged out.
